Me and my family frequently come here to this location and typically receive great service and good food. However last night was not the case. Me, my wife and 5 children were seated and the moment our server Ashley G came to our me and wife automatically noticed she profiled us by the amount of children we have. There is a stigma or stereotype around people with multiple children and that stereotype is typically that we don’t pay we are messy we don’t tip, or that we are problematic, but for us that is never been the case. We had hair on our butter and instead of our server, Ashley G taking the whole board that has the bread and butter and giving us new bread and butter all she did was take the butter which to me is unacceptable. She barely checked on us. She barely came back to our table to see if we needed anything. it was almost like we were invisible. To make matters worse when my daughter’s food came out, there look to be another piece of hair, but not just any piece of hair. It look like someone’s eyelash had fell off and on her plate so at this point we are already irritated about the way we’ve been treated, so I go get the manager whose name is Gretchen. I tell her about Eyelash on my daughters plate. She already seemed irritated. She comes check the plate instead of just taking it straight back to the kitchen and having the food remade, she goes all around the restaurant with the plate in her hand. takes the plate to the kitchen by the time the food comes back out me and my family are already packing up the rest of the food to leave after we pay for our food which cost $120 by the way even though we found two pieces of hair in our food, you would think that we would at least get the meal removed. They have the eyelash in it but no we still had to pay for that one as well so we asked to speak to the manager and the server mind you the server never came back. Once we asked to speak with her the manager Gretchen came, and as we are expressing how we feel, we feel like we were being profiled the whole time we were there. The only thing Gretchen could say was I’m sorry you feel that way. Which wasn’t really a sincere apology At all, she seem more irritated, and was really just saying that to get us out the restaurant like I said, at the beginning, we frequent this long haul location quite often but now I doubt we will go back...
Read moreNew experience Saturday 06/29/24: I ordered a medium rare ribeye with the side of the mushrooms. The menu indicates the ribeye is tender. It came out medium, wasn't very tender, and was thin compared to what I expected for the price. The mushrooms were way overcooked and dried out resembling soft rocks.
Either this location or Longhorn's overall food quality has tanked.
Previous experience Sunday 02/25/24: Dined-in at the Roosevelt location. I looked over the menu and ordered the Fire-Grilled T-Bone described as "Two signature cuts, one bone. Our T-Bone combines the rich flavor of a strip with a tender buttery filet in one big 18oz. bone-in cut." Ordered it MR. Upon being served the steak and expecting it as described it was only a glorified strip steak with a bone and, perhaps 1/2 ounce of "buttery filet" if that. Because it fell short of expectations, I asked the server about it who said she would ask the manager who then came over. I mentioned it wasn't as described on the menu and she proceeded to go into legal mode saying the USDA defines T-Bone vs Porterhouse where T-Bone doesn't have to have a certain amount of filet on the bone. She did offer to add a 6oz filet to the meal, but the concern is the menu description which I said should be updated to reflect what is served which prompted her, again, to go on about the USDA with a less-than-pleasant table side manner. Not personally caring for her overall attitude I asked for the check and she said to just leave which I did. Gosh... what a poor interaction experience with Longhorn management. So, the bottom line is don't order the Fire-Grilled T-Bone unless you want a bone-in "Glorified Strip" steak. Avoiding management interaction at this location is also...
Read moreIf I could have given no stars I would have. This longhorn is the worse ever. We have had a couple of bad experiences but this is the worse. We placed a togo order of fries that's all, it was 4:15 and they told me it would take 35 minutes I could not understand how just fries could take so long so I asked to speak to the manager to gain understanding....big mistake, at which time she compered my ordering fries to a hair appointment saying you can't just walk in to get your hair done you can't do that at longhorn as well. First a manager should never forget about customer service we meaning the customers should matter after all with out us they would have no job. Today it seems it is no longer customer service but "customer no service" and that is sad. I write restaurant reviews on a blog and this will definitely be on the bad blog reviews. If this reaches longhorn corporate I hope they still believe that we as customers matter and does not allow this to happen again. I know it may not be a big deal to some, since it was just fries but all the more reason it is a big deal, if they can't keep the customers happy on a simple order how bad will they be on a bigger order. after receiving my fries they weren't even cooked fully still very much raw and disgusting so at that point we just wanted a refund and we had to wait for that to happen which by the way it never happened we ended up just leaving because it was taking too long so we left with no fries and no refund this is unacceptable so longhorn corporate if this reaches you I hope you make this right because we as customers who live in the neighborhood of where you work are the people who will be coming in or not coming in so I hope you...
