Read moreOkay...So grab a snack(not from this McDonald's ) because this will take a hot minute (unlike my food once I got it) Do you see the trend? Let me start off by saying I am a former employee of McDonald's in Callahan and understand what is expected of employees. This McDonald's needs to be retrained or restaffed. I would give them 0 stars if possible. To begin, it took nearly 3 minutes to be acknowledged at the ordering speaker. Once I spoke up and said "Hello" I was told to "Hold." 45 seconds or so later, I was then asked"what I wanted" NOT "Welcome to McDonald's how Can I help you/ what can I get for you?" I replied a number 6 LARGE (the nuggets) and she asked what sauce(none of this conversation is polite ) .During this entire intercom conversation, she was speaking to coworkers and lane 2 of the drive thru so I was unsure when I was really suppose to speak.(HELLO GET MORE STAFF) She asked after my reply if that was all and I then answered I would like a Dr. Pepper (because you're suppose to get a drink with the meal) and she said they were out so I decided on Diet Coke. She then asked AGAIN if that was all...not "Can I get anything else for you ?" I asked to make sure my fries were NO SALT and asked for extra ranch. LIKE WHO TRAINED THESE EMPLOYEES? Regardless of your job McDonald's or Tiffany's it is your JOB and you NEED to be PROFESSIONAL. Anyhow, I asked for a hot fudge sundae with strawberries, and she asked if I wanted a fudge sundae (in the tone of "how dare you want a sundae?!") and I replied "yes with strawberries " and she said "we are out of fudge" so I said changed my order (again because I am not sure WHO DOES THEIR INVENTORY) and asked for a Reese's McFlurry and she said "we only have oreo" (AGAIN WHO DOES THEIR INVENTORY) so I was DONE at this point and said "that's it then." I proceeded to the first window and got my change(after no clarification that it was my order but I remembered the total so assumed it was mine; however, McDonald's employees are instructed (probably not at THIS location though.) to perform "Ask Ask Tell" ....anyhow I got my change and went on to get my food at the next window. I waited about 2 more minutes before being acknowledged and was then handed my food . I proceeded to ask if these were no salt and the woman that was entertaining me said "They are, but she did not ring it up like that" And this led me to the concern that if another customer had this order, and received no salt on their fries when they did not specifically ask for it, they would be upset as well. She then went on to hand me a MEDIUM cup (when my fries were a large even though they were filled as if they were a medium) and I then restated that I had ordered a large and she replied " The fries were a large but the drink was rang up as a medium".......I got my large diet coke and LEFT. I am BEYOND upset at this customer service. They need to retrain, restaff(OR AT LEAST GET THE AMOUNT OF STAFF IT TAKES TO RUN A BUSINESS), and rethink their inventory numbers. DO NOT GO TO...
I went through the drive-thru with my two youngest children. Ordered one six piece happy meal with apples fries and an orange soda, and said that orange Hi-C if they had it was okay. Ordered a second cheeseburger Happy Meal, with chocolate milk. Been ordered the meal with the Artisan grilled chicken. With a large Coke.
We had to wait in line over 45 minutes, but my girls never get McDonald's, and I felt like surprising them so I waited.
The Happy Meals had an average of three to four fries in each box. There was no ranch sauce with the nugget Happy Meal, which sadly is to be expected, even though they ask you what sauce. My chicken sandwich was only a chunk of the meat that was supposed to be on there, with ripped edges, and only had a small piece of brown lettuce, and the whole box was filled with sauce. I believe there was supposed to be tomato on it from the picture. When they went to give us our drinks, they had none of them ready, so they asked me what the large drink was supposed to be, which I replied a Coke. So they handed me one large drink, said they didn't have any orange flavored drinks, so I said kid Coke, which then they gave me another large drink oh, okay, no big deal. Then they last minute handed me a kid's chocolate milk. Then they give me another, which was odd but whatever. The two large drinks were Dr. Pepper and Diet Coke.
I go inside because one of my children wanted nuggets instead of the cheeseburger, and I already had an awful day so I just agreed to go in and order a 6-piece, which I realize was more expensive than a whole nother Happy Meal, but I was exhausted and didn't care. When I walked up to the counter, the woman at the register was picking her nose, and eating her boogers. I told her she had to wash her hands immediately. She kept telling me no and that she would wash them after she touched all over the register and took my order. Then she goes to the hand washing sink and just puts hand sanitizer on her hands, to which I mentioned that, jokingly, even if you put hand sanitizer on poop, it's still poop. I know that's not what she had on her hands, but that was my extreme example trying to get my point across. if I had been in inspector, that would have been a serious infraction. There were no gloves worn in the kitchen, cross contaminating from chicken to beef, fries, Etc.
The only positive part of this experience was daddy fries actually were seasoned.
I should have gone to the new location a few blocks away, no we had other things to do, and this was the closest.
I for no reason will ever come back to this location, with my family of 6.
If I could leave a 0 star...
Read moreThe worst service so far of all McDonald’s I have been thru. I am here almost everyday ordering fast food but I stopped coming here for 2-3 weeks because of the poor services I got three-in-a row prior to this last order.
Today, I gave this McDonald another chance and my gosh - what a total disappointment. After 5 minutes I was notified that my order #1604 was on the “now serving” screen. I went to the counter and stood there for another 5 minutes and my order wasn’t ready. So, I asked this young African-American woman with very long black and gold braided hair for my medium cup so I can get my drinks while waiting.
As I filled my drinks, the drinks station was very dirty and no straws in the straw tray. I asked for straw from the same woman and she ignored me and was serving and attending to all black customers instead. I got really flustered when she told me “I get to you when I get to you.” I respectfully request somebody to review the camera by the counter to see my point.
I left the restaurant after I told her that I am not waiting for my order anymore as it is not a fast food for me anymore. I really felt being racially singled out as a Filipino against all black customers by a 90% black crew. Even a supervisor asked the lady behind me about her order skipping me like I did not exist before all this happened.
In addition, there were at least a couple of managers or supervisors working who were also of the same ethnicity as the server at the counter and I am not against their work ethic but they were not quick to serve either as I was observing them.
I left without my food. I will never be back at this restaurant ever even if I work at only a walking...
