I recently had an extraordinary experience purchasing furniture at Ashley Furniture, and it was all thanks to an exceptional sales associate, Elijah Phillips From the moment I stepped into the store, Elijah demonstrated unparalleled professionalism, leadership, and expertise.

Elijah greeted me warmly and immediately made me feel welcomed. His deep understanding of the furniture industry was evident as he patiently listened to my needs, preferences, and budget constraints. Unlike many salespeople who can be overly pushy, He provided thoughtful recommendations and insightful advice, making the decision process both easy and enjoyable.

One of the most remarkable aspects of Elijah's service was his leadership skills. It was clear that he was not just an excellent salesperson but also a natural leader. I observed him mentoring other staff, coordinating tasks seamlessly, and ensuring that all customers received top-notch service. The time and patience with my Husband and I was refreshing now a days. His ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining a calm and composed demeanor was truly impressive.

Throughout the entire process, from selection to purchase to delivery, He ensured that everything went smoothly. He went above and beyond to follow up on delivery schedules and ensure the furniture arrived in perfect condition. His attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction was second to none.

From the initial sale in store this whole process screamed unprofessional. Our salesman was not educated on any products that my husband and I were asking about. It was until we spoke about purchasing our items cash that he perked up. As if he did not think we were serious buyers or he did not take us serious. Anyway we went with them because they were the only ones with the style of bed that I wanted. We ordered in July and were told it wouldn’t arrive August 16th due to Covid (this was fine we knew most places were behind schedule).Fast forward to August 13th, three days before our installation I called them because we had not received any communication, no confirmation, no scheduled window, not even an update. The woman on the phone said that our bed would not be in stock until September. Mind you we purchased on July 5th and had no communication up until this point. I was livid. Of course there was nothing they do and they didn’t even act like they cared. Today is September 12 our bed finally came. We got a window between 10:30-01:30, we got a text about 6 minutes before they arrived that stated the delivery would be there in 10 minutes. All the other places that we have ordered from have given a call 25-30 minutes before hand so that we can prepare and clear the space. Once the guys came in the seemed very annoyed that we had to move our bed. One of the guys even looked at me annoyingly and asked was my husband ready as if they were doing us a favor and we hadn’t purchased from them. I will NOT purchase from again the experience was terrible especially compared to some of the other people that we ordered from. If you are delivering things and assembling them in peoples houses you are the face of the company. If you don’t like that then you should be in another field or start your own business. which they advised would be delivered in 2 weeks although they got their money right away. That was the least of our problems. Half of the furniture came in 3 weeks from the day we payed and the other half only came with certain pieces. We are now on week 5 and they are telling us it’s going to be another 3 weeks for us to get our complete order and now we have to assemble it ourselves although we payed the assembly fee. I had planned to go back for the rest of our furniture because I can honestly say I love the quality but it’s definitely not worth the hassle and If I could I would return our whole order because it’s has been nothing but a complete inconvenience and they tell you they’re going to fix the problem and nothing gets done. I ordered from ROOMS TO GO and BADCOCK and got my furniture within the same week DO NOT SHOP WITH ASHLEYS IF YOU WANT YOUR FURNITURE RIGHT AWAY and good customer service !!!!!!!!

Update: We have wasted each Saturday of our free time for the past 6 weeks, time that we cannot get back and have yet to receive our full order. Every time they come they are missing hardware or bringing damaged furniture and refuse to give us a refund. This last Saturday 4/27/24 was our last straw and the customer service supervisor was completely unhelpful and refused to give us the number for corporate and stated we could not get a refund which the delivery person Aaron witnessed and then tried to do his best to help us but in the end he was unable to do so. Nothing was done to accommodate the inconvenience we’ve dealt with thus far and at this point we are over it. PLEASE process our refund and pick up the pieces that were left in my house. This is by far the worst furniture experience...

Tall Danni was awesome! She greeted us at the door with one of the prettiest smiles and didn’t hover over us. She allowed us to get a feel for what we wanted and swooped in working to fulfill the intent of our visit. ā€œDanni listenedā€ to our needs and wants and made sure we left with the main things we wanted/needed. I’m so grateful to have the tall Danni experience today!!! While my shopping experience with Tall Danni was awesome, my delivery was horrible, dreadful, a disaster, a disappointment, awful, poor and everything that can mean bad! It was the absolute worst delivery experience I’ve ever had! The two guys that delivered my furniture, assembled everything outside allowing everything to sit in the street until they were ready to bring it inside. I asked for the furniture to remain inside the packaging until they got it inside the house (a big empty house) and they refused even after they spoke with "customer service" who advised they had to take the sofa out of the plastic so they wouldn’t damage it (makes absolutely no sense) but to bring the other items in still in the packaging. These guys were very rude and went into my mailbox and stole my card info. They also purposely damaged my tv stand (pictured below). Each time I try to reach customer service to advise of my service and issue, I can’t get anybody! Unfortunately I have to change my 5 star rating to a 2.

So just be careful if they sell out you might not be able to solve any problems with furniture you bought from them. Furniture after 3 years started pealing not covered under protection plan. And after 4.5 years both couches broke. Don’t buy very beautiful furniture. Sad customer service sucks. If you look at corporate rating 1.5 stars. This place is a joke.
