It was until we spoke about purchasing our items cash that he perked up. As if he did not think we were serious buyers or he did not take us serious. Anyway we went with them because they were the only ones with the style of bed that I wanted. We ordered in July and were told it wouldnāt arrive August 16th due to Covid (this was fine we knew most places were behind schedule).Fast forward to August 13th, three days before our installation I called them because we had not received any communication, no confirmation, no scheduled window, not even an update. The woman on the phone said that our bed would not be in stock until September. Mind you we purchased on July 5th and had no communication up until this point. I was livid. Of course there was nothing they do and they didnāt even act like they cared. Today is September 12 our bed finally came. We got a window between 10:30-01:30, we got a text about 6 minutes before they arrived that stated the delivery would be there in 10 minutes. All the other places that we have ordered from have given a call 25-30 minutes before hand so that we can prepare and clear the space. Once the guys came in the seemed very annoyed that we had to move our bed. One of the guys even looked at me annoyingly and asked was my husband ready as if they were doing us a favor and we hadnāt purchased from them. I will NOT purchase from again the experience was terrible especially compared to some of the other people that we ordered from. which they advised would be delivered in 2 weeks although they got their money right away. That was the least of our problems. Half of the furniture came in 3 weeks from the day we payed and the other half only came with certain pieces. We are now on week 5 and they are telling us itās going to be another 3 weeks for us to get our complete order and now we have to assemble it ourselves although we payed the assembly fee. I had planned to go back for the rest of our furniture because I can honestly say I love the quality but itās definitely not worth the hassle and If I could I would return our whole order because itās has been nothing but a complete inconvenience and they tell you theyāre going to fix the problem and nothing gets done. I ordered from ROOMS TO GO and BADCOCK and got my furniture within the same week DO NOT SHOP WITH ASHLEYS IF YOU WANT YOUR FURNITURE RIGHT AWAY and good customer service !!!!!!!!
Update: We have wasted each Saturday of our free time for the past 6 weeks, time that we cannot get back and have yet to receive our full order. Every time they come they are missing hardware or bringing damaged furniture and refuse to give us a refund. This last Saturday 4/27/24 was our last straw and the customer service supervisor was completely unhelpful and refused to give us the number for corporate and stated we could not get a refund which the delivery person Aaron witnessed and then tried to do his best to help us but in the end he was unable to do so. Nothing was done to accommodate the inconvenience weāve dealt with thus far and at this point we are over it. PLEASE process our refund and pick up the pieces that were left in my house.
