Well, every time we visit this Moe's location, there is at least one ingredient, of course the one ingredient, or more on some visits,is what we were craving. My daughter loves the white rice (lime), and they were out of it this time, they were also out of pork, and the adobo chicken had very little seasoning, and was very fatty. We apparently chose the wrong time to come for dinner, too, because we got our enthusiastic "Welcome to Moe's" greeting, but it took them literally 10 minutes to ask what we would like and whether we were dining in or taking our order to go. We were dining in, so after everyone finally stopped sweeping and managed to wash their hands and put fresh gloves on (thank goodness); we started our order process, it took a few minutes to prepare our order, since there were 3 of us. I am disabled, and in their process of pre-closing, they closed off the trash can closest to the salsa bar and drink/condiment station; as I was preparing our cups of salsa, I noticed that someone had dropped a cup in the floor prior to my arriving, so I was going to leave it neater than when I arrived, but I had to hobble to the front door to throw away someone else's mess. I normally let things roll off my back and don't fuss about them, but if your family, like our family, has to watch their spending, and choose restaurants with BOGO Offers, and only eat out every once in a while. I will most likely, not return to this particular location. There are too many other choices on this side of town now, and our money will be...
Read moreThis moes is so hit or miss. Sometimes I go and it's fantastic and others it's absolutely ridiculous! This last visit was definitely on the ridiculous side. I didn't mind the slow disorganized nature- if I can't wait a few extra minutes for my food I shouldn't be out. My concern was more so with the attitude of the employee and quality of the food this time. As the woman built the meals ahead of me I noticed she was putting very little lettuce on everyone's meals so I had prepared to have to ask for more when it was my turn. She put a literal pinch of lettuce on my bowl so I asked for more. She put another pinch (and I mean a pinch...I'm talking like 5 shriveled shreds of lettuce here) so I again asked for more. She glared at me with so much irritation and added one more pinch. I wasn't trying to get stabbed over some lettuce so I just accepted my fate and moved on. My sister ordered next and asked if they had more lettuce. This woman looked her dead in the face and told her no...which we know was a lie- she just didn't want to go get more. Thank goodness for the other employee who walked back to get a fresh bin of lettuce and added it to her quesadilla as it cooked.
The salsa was also fermented, super runny and inedible, so that was a bummer.
It was edible but not very enjoyable. Like I said, this location can either be the absolute best or truly the worst, so if you're down to test your luck, go....I know we certainly do as it's the closest...
Read moreWould be a 0 if it'd let me. Ordered food online for pickup. Nachos did not come with 3 of the ingredients ordered out of 6. $10 dollars for 50% of the order missing, oh and a tip. Called the store they asked me to come back up there they'd remake it. Um no. I'm not going to waste more gas, or more time for a mistake you made. The "manager" offers me a refund. I said ok that's works. Then told me she will have the manager (thought you were the manager?) Call me in the morning. Oh annnnnd that I have to bring the nachos back for a refund, and drive up there.(BTW NO MANAGER CALLED ME IN THE MORNING) After I got off the phone I fed them to my dogs. Not going to again, waste my time and gas for your mistake. Then i felt like they were accusing me of trying to pull a scam. When 1. I never asked for a refund, you offered, and 2. Its $10 why am i scamming on $10!? Anyways, I'm frustrated I feel as a business your failed. Why were there only two options given to solve this issue, and why were both inconveninecing me? Never heard from the actual manager. Put a bad taste in my mouth. It just taught me to not be lazy. Make your own damn food at home. Could have spent $10 dollars on groceries for nachos at home for the week and tipped myself. Thanks for the much...
