Every time I visit this Wendys, I sit in the drive thru for at least 20 minutes. The most recent experience was on New Year’s Eve 2017. I arrived in line around 910pm & didn’t receive my food until 930ish. This is unaccepatable!!! I saw a chunky male employee taking the trash out TWICE while I was in line for 20+ minutes. I don’t think this was a smart move on him/company considering the drive-thru wait time. The drive thru cashier/order taker did not greet me nor use any common manners such as “thank you” or “you’re welcome”. When I pulled to the speaker to order my food the order taker only said “go ahead with your order”. SMH!!! When I pulled up to pay for my food, again no please, thank you, you’re welcome, NOTHING. I had to initiate & tell the cashier thank you & she ultimately said you’re welcome. While sitting at the window waiting more time for my food, I could see multiple people in the restaurant laughing and on their cellphones, including what looked like the manager who was a short African American female who had a short blonde/brown haircut. With all of these people, the wait time shouldn’t be 20 minutes. Finally after I received my food, it was NOT FRESH!. The fries were old & cold and the burger was fairly warm as the cheese hadn’t melted even as I ate the burger. Due to me having a prior engagement, I didn’t have time to wait another 20+ minutes for them to re-make the food fresh. The extreme slowness & non-quality food was also experienced at the Wendys on Emerson & Phillips highway. I’m not sure if Wendys is understaffed or the employees don’t care, but these issues will keep me far away from Wendys. Wendys coporation should learn from Publix & Chick-fil-a when it comes to customer service & quality or else Wendys will be on the chopping block. I only gave one star because it wouldn’t allow me to post without selecting a star rating. Otherwise, I would...

But everytime I am met with disappointment. Chili cheese fries that are stale or have either too much or too little. The person taking my order getting an attitude or rambling off the sauces to fast for me to understand because I don’t know what they are, didn’t see them on the menu and honestly, tonight was the first night I asked. I’m hearing impaired btw and have hearing aids. I verified the total and window clerk said yea. I gave it to her and I gave her the exact change to get dollars back only to receive bills and a whole lotta change… she was like what’s up? If someone didn’t give you the exact change but it was close to or they tried to, you should verify no? Or maybe my era is to far from theirs because the customer service I was taught supersedes theirs. Everyone had their hair down, in their face, touching their face and eyes with their hands and then touching other stuff. I’ve heard that they would close their lobby at like 6 saying not enough staff even though it’s like 8 of them in there. This place either needs to be totally taken over by new management and older individuals or it just needs to be shutdown. I’ll drive to Oakleaf for Wendy’s from now on. The way they acted… I literally looked at each piece of food before I ate it, which you shouldn’t have to do. I work in the same plaza the Wendy’s is located and I have not heard one positive story from my coworkers or customers about this Wendy’s. They suck 🤷🏽♀️ give or take a couple actually decent individuals who go out their way. Some of them actually know what they are doing and try. Get rid of those who don’t please. 🤷🏽♀️ do a corporate eval and have someone come implement changes. It’s...
Read moreThe person who identified herself as "the manager" and refused to give her name was horrible! I had two orders and she said she can only take one. The line was wrapped around the building, yet she told us to order one and get back in the line. So we ordered both orders in one, while she kept asking, "Is there anything else?" after each item.
When we got to the window, nuggets were burnt in one order and in another order, the 4 piece nuggets were smashed together looking like one chicken strip instead. We didn't have any sauces, napkins, spoons for the frosty's, or straws for the drinks. My daughter politely asked for another order of nuggets and the manager rolled her eyes and said, "okay it will be 3 minutes. Will you pull up?" She then answered her cell phone and started talking.
Because of her nasty attitude and demeanor, we thought she was going to make us wait longer or do something to the food, and we wanted to make sure the new order was good. So, we decided to wait the 3 minutes at the window.
After close to 10 minutes, she opened the window and asked, " May I help you?" I said, "Yes, you said 3 minutes for the nuggets and we decided to wait here instead." She said, "Now, I'm not gonna give you anything and you can't get a refund. I am refusing you service!" She then locked the window and walked away.
We waited in the drive thru not believing what we just heard. Cars started leaving and she still did not return. To shorten this already long story, she turned out to be A Manager In Training! We tried waiting on the real manager to arrive, but we had already been there for an hour. Another worker made my daughter a fresh order of food...
