A Mixed Bag of Feelings at the Non-Alcoholic Bar
This is anon-alcoholic bar, a concept I was genuinely excited to explore. Arriving on a Saturday, I was pleased to find adequate parking, and the sound of a live band warming up created a promising atmosphere.
The "drink your feelings" concept was intriguing. To create this drink, you share how you’re currently feeling with your bartender and they will create your drink so I shared my emotional state with the bartender
Prior to ordering my drink I’m seated at the bar next to the register awaiting for the bartender to acknowledge me ,However, this is where the experience began to falter. A small group entered stood to re register next to me, the bartender came over and began taking their order prompting me to clarify the ordering process. My question, "Do I need to come to the register, or can I order here? Unfortunately, the "drink your feelings" beverage didn't quite capture the desired effect. It felt like the emotional connection was lost in the shuffle of the ordering confusion.
The atmosphere itself was a. It's a quaint and chill spot, with a definite attempt at creating a relaxed vibe. However, the space is undeniably small, which could feel crowded when busy. The live band, once fully underway, likely added to...
Read moreThe vibe is chill, the drinks are pretty, but not good. The bartender (guy with the bun) was rude. Not welcoming at all. Wont be returning!
Reply to owner: what I couldn't say in person? Did you expect me to sit there & argue with you over a straw? I went up to you once for a straw, not twice. It's not nice to lie. The straws were simply sitting on your counter, where it's easy assessable for anyone to grab since you never provided me one! I grabbed 2 straws, I was so confused when you rolled your eyes and said 'uh, no' and I said 'wait are you serious?' It's just a straw!!! You're acting like I just touched all the straws when I simply just grabbed it and left to go sit. I wasn't going to put the straws back, that's dirty. Your vibe was off from the moment my friend & I walked in. I asked you if a drink is good, you said 'yeah everything is good, have you been somewhere that told you no? In which I replied ' I have actually, you said 'that place needs to be shut down' it was not that serious. I just asked if a drink was popular by others. It's very unfortunate that you want to be immature & rude by name calling 'debby downer.' But that's okay, you know you were disrespectful, and others in the comments have...
