HEALTH CODE VIOLATIONS PICTURE ATTACHED. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. The food was greasy and flavorless. The manager "Miguel" (pictured) could and refused to adjust the bill. His real name is Juan and he is actually one of the owners. So you steal from customers. The server even told us. You're seating yourself, using your phone for the menu, and for the food to be lacking in flavor isn't worth the price plus a 18% tip for the bare minimum service at that. It's not a state rule and you can take it off. Don't waste your time or your money when you could get better elsewhere. Oh! And if you're doing take out they're still charged 18%. As you can see they're incorrectly charging for a group of 4 when there was only 2 people at the table. What we should've done was call the cops because you're falsely charging people. The only person that deserved a tip was the bartender because she made those drinks worth the price. If I had known what I know now about the health inspection on 7/10/2024, I would have NEVER eaten here. The picture is attached. Prepping food on the floor is wild. Repeat violations. Reply to owner(s)-Juan Mendoza, Maria Mendoza Martinez, Juan Garcia Gonzalez of JG-Edams, LLC and Jesus Valencia & Blanca Valencia of JV-Holding Restaurant Management of Florida, Inc.: that kind of response would never bring customers back. Your "manager" would need to apologize, read a book on law, and give a refund. You guys said you didn't care about a bad review and we don't have to come back.

i want to preface this by saying i really tried to give this place a chance and i usually try to avoid leaving bad reviews if possible. but this time i just have to. the food was ok, it was not great. and it definitely wasn’t worth it for the price that we paid. ($80 for 3 people…). what really did it for me was while we were waiting on the waitress to come pick up our check, there was a HUGE roach crawling next to us near the window. what a turn off. i’m glad i saw it after we ate, or i might have just had to leave right there. we paid a lot of money for this meal, and had leftovers too. but now i feel extremely uncomfortable eating those leftovers; even though i HATE to be wasteful!! if this is what you see outside of the kitchen just take a minute to imagine what might be going on inside of the kitchen. oh and it took our waitress nearly 20 minutes to come collect our check despite us being the only ones inside the restaurant. never again!! taco bell could make food better than what was served here honestly, maybe less health violations too. the waitress was nice and we didn’t mention the roach, but i’m sure the other employees in the building definitely heard us talking about it. i added photos as well so the business can’t try to gaslight me about this issue.

Food was average, service was terrible. Service: After being seated it took long enough to get the drinks I ordered (glad of water and a Modelo) that I had to ask where they were. After being seated, it took over 30 minutes to get the food to the table. No effort to ask if I wanted another drink, so I had to ask halfway through. After that, the waitress disappeared completely for the rest of the meal. I honestly thought she'd gone home and just didn't care that she still had a table. I had to a different server for a box and the check. The terrible service from the waitress alone will keep me from coming back or recommending this place. Food: I ordered the skirt steak w/chimichurri taco, Azado (carne asada) taco, and the al pastor taco. The al pastor taco was the best of the three. Both steak tacos would have been good if the meat wasn't half gristle and inedible chewy parts. Honestly couldn't eat a good portion of the meat parts that were in the taco. Still in search for a good taco shop in Jacksonville...

Would give zero stars, if possible. Placed an online order and once I arrived to pick it up they told me to wait for the manager. Another woman came over and said their online system was down so they didn’t get a ticket for my order. She said I could just tell her what I got and then she’d write it down and put it up there for them to make. Thinking she was the manager, I told her what I’d ordered and she put the ticket up there for the cooks to make. Another man came in and began speaking to the cooks and one of the cooks began speaking about how they shouldn’t make the food because there’s no order in the system. The man came over and asked me to place and PAY for another order because they had not gotten it in their computer and that I should just call my bank on Monday to have them refund me for the online charge. I was baffled that one, they weren’t providing my food even though I had an emailed receipt and a pending charge on my bank account, meaning it had in fact gone through, and two, they were telling me I needed to pay again/dispute the charge on my own later on if I wanted the food I’d ordered. I left to try and get in touch with my bank, but then went back to get the manager to write down his name, information, and a note about what happened so I’d have it for supporting documentation when disputing the charge (which my bank asked me for when I called them afterwards). He spent about five minutes arguing with me that I didn’t need that and that he didn’t understand why I’d need that. Finally, after explaining it several times and him “still not understanding”, I asked him if he was going to provide me the documentation that I was asking for. He said “I will, but I don’t understand how this is going to help you.” All around a horrible experience, and I will not be spending any of my money with them again...

Wanted to share our experience on a group outting. We had just started a bar hopping event with some friends and 904 taco was our first stop. Everything was fine, chips, salsa, one round of margaritas and two appetizers and we were ready to move onto the next location. The bill arrived. We asked if there was any issue in splitting amongst multiple forms of payment and the waiter kindly said no problem. We proceeded to put down $40 in cash and three credit cards for a $75 check. We instructed the server to deduct the cash and then split the rest amongst the cards. The waiter came back and kept our cash and split the bill amongst all three cards, evenly! Gratuity was included in the original bill. They took our cash, then proceeded to add gratuity onto the split bills. I went to ask for the original bill and let the waiter know that he had not followed our instructions He proceeded to have a conversation with a cashier in Spanish in front of me, which luckily I understood, refused to give us the receipt and refused to bring the manager so we could settle this blatant theft and over charging. Please be aware that 904 taco hires thieves. Watch your bills, protect your dollars, 904 will take your money and then act dumb when you call them out. It wasn’t a language barrier it was a blatant refusal to be transparent an obvious ploy to pilfer dollars. We wound up, leaving in order to not cause a scene, but in all we spent as much on the pilfered gratuity as we did on the check. This happened 03/28/24 at 6:42pm, our servers name was Pablito. I really hope management see this and makes the necessary changes so that future customers do not get robbed...
