I honestly tried to be patient and understanding during my visit here today. I know a lot of places are short staffed and a busy summer doesn't help matters much. However the service and food I received today was beyond terrible. My daughters and I arrived right at 4:00 pm knowing they close at 5:00 pm thinking we had plenty of time. The girl behind the counter informed us that the grill was just shut off in preparation for closing. Okay, no big deal so we ordered our food. One of my kids ordered the grilled chicken caesar sandwich. The girl behind the counter said we could order this so I assumed the chicken was pre grilled and maybe cut up and refrigerated. After I paid, my daughter's snacked on the fruit we also purchased which was warm despite being in the cold case. Then one of the staff came outside AFTER I paid to tell me the chicken is frozen so they could not provide that sandwich for us. At this point I was still trying to be understanding and just go with the flow. I just had them give us another cold cut sandwich. We waited about 45 minutes before we recieved our food. I expected the wait however other families/orders that were behind us recieved their food first. Still just went with it until I started eating my sandwich. A few bites in I felt what I knew instantly was hair. The left side of my Italian sub had a long piece of hair tangled right inside of it. So disgusting, the rushed service to end up having such a long wait, paying for food just to be told afterwards they can't make it, warm fruit and food with hair in it all together is just no way to run a...

Showed up at 1:10 when they close at 2 o’clock …. waited in line for 20 minutes. They only served about 3 people the whole time we were waiting in line the person taking orders was just making drinks and wiping down counters. They announced that there was 5 more minutes to take sandwich orders at 1:25, I had already been waiting a long time but I was the next person so I didn’t think it was a big deal, they literally didn’t take any new orders and just slowly cashed out the person in front of me then announced the sandwich station was closed.

They turned away more than 10 customers still 30 minutes before closing time. If you close at 1 just write 1 on the door? Waste of time and from the way that the employees acted I would never return or recommend...

A great spot to grab some lunch and enjoy the sweeping views of Narragansett Bay and the Newport Pell Bridge! The sandwich menu is extensive. The deli also stocks a wide assortment of high quality chips. We stopped in for lunch and enjoyed regular sandwiches. Their breakfast menu looked fantastic as well! They also have several daily soups. The deli has seating inside and outside. You can also grab your sandwich to go and sit on one of the benches at the park across the street. The team is also VERY dog-friendly! Four-legged patrons receive their very own slice of cheese if you ask!

No restrooms minus 1 star. We are travelers visiting RI drove a bit and a restaurant with no restrooms is a violation of human decency. But the food was good/plentiful meat/sauerkraut on essentially a Reuben. Turkey sandwich Thanksgiving tasty. Oatmeal cookie thick and buttery. Just get me a potty and a place to wash my hands we traveled all that way for no essentials. Boo. I had to use a travel John first time in my life. I know this is Jamestown but at least dig a hole in the ground, eh?!

They are currently not allowing people to sit outside so come prepared to take your food to a park bench. The bacon, egg, and cheese on a biscuit was great. The roast beef sandwich was okay. Great easy, cold drinks to take with you. Good in a pinch but not a destination. Very awesome staff.
