The man serving ice cream was very nice and when I paid with my card he said “please review the screen” I saw 20% tip already highlighted but I changed it to 18% only bc it’s ice cream. He let my daughter sample not one, but 2 different flavors before she chose what she wanted. Very friendly and her ice cream was $5. No posted prices as far as I could tell. Guy at the counter just entered a number off the top of his head and had 20% tip auto selected on the checkout screen. He tried to skip to the next screen for payment without my consent. He claimed “the machine automatically does that” but then cancelled it and allowed me to enter my own tip once he’d been caught. Deceptive and unfortunate....
