Tony & Maria's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Janesville

Ever since I discovered this place I've been a return customer. The price is a bit higher but for what you get it's worth every penny. I've seen complaints about customer service, price, and delivery times. Here's the skinny on those topics. This place gets very busy and hectic so if the phone rings and rings it's because they are swamped. Customer service? They do their best and treat people with kindness. The price. If you are complaining about a $25 pizza with the works then stick to Domino's or pizza hut. This is a real pizzeria. If the cheese slid off it's your fault as they do tell you to keep it level. They use real ingredients from the 100% cheese, unlike Macs and Domino's, to the toppings and dough. Sam's large size is actually smaller than a 12"and they've raised their prices mind you. Tony and Maria's has the right amount of cheese, sauce, and toppings. The taste is insanely great. The crust is bit soggy due to the real ingredients that cause grease to soak into the crust. To me that's not a deal breaker. These local guides with unfound reviews on this place really need to understand what a pizzeria is. Hint it's not the major chains. This pizza will have you saying mamma mia with the amount of fresh ingredients and flavor you get. And again if $25 is too much for you then go elsewhere. This is real people, real pizza,...

The first time I originally called to place my order the girl who answered the phone was rude as heck. Come to find out I accidentally called the Janesville store instead of the Beloit store. The delivery man kindly told me that he was going to return the pizza back to the store. When I called to ask for a refund the woman on the phone blatantly told me that it was my fault and that I need to be more careful of where I was calling. My husband then called back to be sure that we were going to be getting a refund and the same woman answered and continued to tell us that it was our fault and continued to yell at us and not reassure us that we would be getting a refund even though we did not receive our pizza. I have had nothing but good experiences with the one in Beloit but I will Make sure that the one in Janesville never receives...

Literally probably my favorite pizza place of all time, have been getting this place since I was a kid. Always show it to new people when I can. However, I cannot excuse what I saw today. Walked in to grab my food, around 4 employees in that tiny building and not a single one of them was wearing gloves or masks. Absolutely inexcusable. A global pandemic that has killed over 100,000 Americans, is growing by the day, and a business that serves people food not having a single bit of protection against it. That displays absolutely no regard for the care of your customers. Families like mine that have people who are heavily immunocompromised and could literally die from this, and walking in to see a business not taking any precautions about it.
