Carrington Coffee Company — Restaurant in Jasper

I went through the drive thru today at about 6. I ordered a regular drip coffee. And I’m not sure if it’s because they were about to close in an hour or what but the coffee I had tasted more like an americano or instant coffee. She did ask how strong I wanted it which I thought was peculiar. I used to work at Starbucks and I understand some cafes do that sometimes when they’re getting ready to close. People who really enjoy coffee will tell you once you have that one REALLY amazing coffee it will ruin you for all other subpar coffee... Well Carrington has ruined me for every other place. It is better than every other coffee shop I’ve visited in Ga. There’s just something extra special about it. Every time I’m anywhere near Jasper I make the stop at Carrington Coffee. It’s a need. The employee (young, pretty girl, with long blonde hair at 8:30 a.m., on 11/30/2023) was having a full conversation with the person in the car ahead of me. Even after giving them their drink, they continued with the conversation. The person in front of me didn’t move their vehicle (due to this conversation), until I started backing up to get out of line. I went somewhere else for coffee this morning. One piece of conversation that I overheard from the employee was “…all he cares about is his damn money.”
