Waitress asked us what we would like to drink and took our order and then took it to the person that calls the order out. We always listen so we can say something and we can catch their attention. He called out "pull 3 bacon---1 well". I said that all 3 were supposed to be well. Our waitress came over and asked if I said something so I told her that I said "all 3 were supposed to be well". She said oh yeah...she goes to the call out person and tells him that they were supposed to be well---he shows her the ticket and says "I called out what you wrote on the ticket" she did change it but it should have been on there to begin with. She comes to our table and tells us she took care of it...in the meantime we still have not gotten our drinks. She walks by several times and then stops and says "did I not already bring your drinks?" No---do you see any glasses on the table---is what I wanted to say but I just looked at her and said no. She gets our drinks and brings us our food...my hashbrowns were supposed to be well done (it was called out "well")---the top was barely cooked and the bottom was not brown at all. I would have sent them back but the rest of my food would have been cold. They were busy but they are always busy. We did tip but she would have gotten a lot better tip if she had done...
Read moreI was very disappointed when I asked for a sausage grit bowl and only got grits and 2 pieces of sausage and I had to call the manager to see if they still were serving the sausage grit bowls and he said Yes and when I told him what I had received he had to replace it with something that was supposed to be a grit bowl but the grits were not cooked all the way and the eggs and cheese were running with sausage this was the worst experience I've ever had at a waffle house restaurant and I eat there all the time but I guess I will be rethinking that for now on with me being a manager myself to work in a restaurant and value the opinion of the customer but also know that they can take their money else where which means that you lose money and I know that you are not in the business of losing money me my self would of handled that situation a lot different to satisfy my customer so this would not leave back to this post which doesn't looks good at all for your ratings and review I'm so sorry but it's should be acknowledge so it doesn't happen to the wrong person like the corporate who used to evaluate us on how we handle our customers have a blessed day sorry about the...
Read moreThe food was good, but I’d give a half star for service. Our waitress (Kallie) was super slow. I mean, she stopped every couple of steps as she was on her way to our table. I just thought she was shy or something. She dropped off our drinks, then walked away instead of asking if we were ready to order (we were). So, we waited, then the apparent grueling task of her walking back to our table transpired. She finally took our order. Then proceeded to talk very loudly with her friend at the counter about which guys like to flirt with them. I had to get up to ask for a refill because of this conversation she was having and she didn’t offer one (a refill) to my boyfriend, who clearly needed one. It was a strange visit to say the least.
