Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken — Restaurant in Jefferson City

Updated 11/12/24 🛑 New order🛑 Worsest place to eat in Jefferson City MO I just received my order. I am once again disappointed. When I tell you this store can't get right. Believe it. The owner needs to terminate all of the employees. So let me start. First they turned off Door dash ordering. I hop on the store website. A little insight if you have any issues it's hard to contact this store if you order from store website. I place my order. I have my receipt and it have my order exactly the way I request. Unfortunately I didn't receive my order the way I ordered it. I called the store and the phone line is busy. It's been that way for 2 hrs.They continue to charge me for a reg gizzard and I didn't receive it. The delivery guy was like they say they out of gizzards but didn't ask for a refund. He was slow as hell for that wish I can take my tip back. This where the fudgery come in. Did he steal the gizzards or refunded and kept my coins. 🤔My spicy 4 piece I throw in the trash the chicken was old and had a rotten smell. I order a three piece meal. Two thighs and a leg. I received two legs and one thigh. This meal was also cook so hard it wasn't edible. The sides also was dry. Poor biscuit. No need to explain a over cooked dry biscuit. This place is notorious for messing up orders. If they smile more, take time to read orders and embrace the privilege of employment this place can be 5 stars. It's time for them to have a in-service on company mission, interpersonal skills and proper food handling procedure.

I have been going here for some years now. When I say it has gone downhill. I requested to have my gizzards drop twice. This has never been an issue. She told me they didn't have any fryers. I ask how are you cooking chicken then.She get an attitude for asking about my order. They give you what they want to give. Orders is never right. Overall check your food. This place have illiterate...

I paid for a 4 piece meal for me and my son too share on sept 29 2023. they told me too pull forward and wait. np... 30 seconds later a horrible automobile accident involving a motorcycle happened right infront of us.. I called 911 and directed traffic for 30 minutes. the officer instructed me too leave. I did.

I came back the next day to talk too the manager at lee's to receive my food I paid for and I was told get whatever you want. I thought god bless you 🙏. I can order the 12 piece and afford to feed me, my wife and my 2 kids tonight. no sooner than they placed my order over the intercom she came from out back and asked me what I ordered last night. my story was the same. she Informed me that is all im gonna get..... im not one too ask for for anything more than what I paid for or deserved but I was told get whatever I want.. my problem was absolutely about the delivery and the embarrassment at which I was informed after being mislead. absolutely the worst experience ever at any place. I left feeling embarrassed and felt like no good deed goes unpunished

I only gave a one because zero isn't available. We came in from out of town and found this place online. Went in an hour before closing. Ordered 3 meals, one chicken fried steak with 2 sides, then two of the strip meals (one baked one famous) each with two sides an extra side of some and 4 pies. I only got the famous strip meal with two sides. I not only didn't get the other meal I didn't get my extra apples for my daughter! Then I didn't even get silverware for the pies! My strips tasted like rubber and my sons chicken fried steak was cold. I'm usually not one to complain because ya know things happen. But this is beyond a little mistake and absolutely ridiculous. I looked on my receipt when I got back to the hotel and the missing strip meal wasn't on my receipt yet after ordering he read me back my order. I would've understood missing the extra order yet we discussed it a few times and even the fact I wanted my gravy on the side from the potatoes. I just don't get it! We also didn't get any biscuits after I specifically asked for butter for the biscuits after he said yes they come with biscuits...
