Golden Nugget Pancake House — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

First time going there and we'll I was somewhat dissapointed. When we showed up to the restaurant we didn't get greeded and there was sign that said to sit ourselves. When we sat down the waitress slammed our menu's and gave us some coffee and said she will be right back. It didn't took long till she came back to give my son a paper and some crayons which I thought was really nice,since my son loves coloring and was really excited. Then we told her we were ready to order, me and my fiancé order and my son asked for scrumbled eggs,pancakes and bacon and an apple juice. Then my fiancé order an omelet that had mushrooms, green peppers, tomatoes and some pancakes, and for me well I had the chicken parmesan and a strawberry shake and a coke... Well I was just hungry and ready to eat. It didn't took more then 6 to 8 minutes when we got our food, I was surprised that the food had come quickly. Me and my fiancé then started to eat and what seemed delicious when you look at it in the menu it wasn't. My food was undercooked, you can see the meat that still needed to be cooked and didn't eat it at all, I did ate some spaghetti and it was alright. My fiances omelet had no taste but the pancakes were great. My son loved his food, but for me I wouldn't go again for several reasons. First it wasn't busy and it took the waitress a pretty long time to bring coffee and then she was slamming everything on the table then the food was not well prepared and we'll I really didn't like it at all. I hope the manager or the owner knows this because this shouldn't happend they should make sure that people come back and we'll I feel that they need work in the kitchen and the waitresses need to greet and at least and try to sit people or at least just be less talkative and pay attention more to their customers. We came to this location because we haven’t in a long time and I was much better off going to IHOP or Denny’s. We came in and ordered our food at 11am. Our food took 40 mins to come out of the kitchen. And we ordered simple breakfast food. Eggs over easy and pancakes. Once we got our food, we had to leave because we had an important event to attend. The waitress was great. She was nice and understanding. Even apologized for the long wait. She brought us to go boxes. But when we got to the register to pay, the lady up front was telling me I still owed 7 dollars on an 83 dollar bill and 91 dollars came out my account sending my account to 0. I showed her my transaction clearly showing the 91 dollars coming out as pending and she proceeded to argue with me telling me that she has no control over the machine and that it was my card and they charge me fees. I’ve had this card for 3 years and I’ve NEVER been charged fees. I transferred 7.75 over to pay what I owe her and the machine drained me again to 0. But I only owed 7.03. I will NOT be going to this location ever again and I live in the area. I was trying to give my businesses business, but NOT this location. I will never use my card again or go back. And if I do go back, it’s cash only. The food was even mediocre at best. Please be aware when paying with debit card. I don’t know if it’s the card machine or the person running it. Decided to stop in and get a quick bite with my family. I understand it was close to closing but I was a paying customer. I have also worked in Pancake Houses and have tooken customer all the way till closing. I Ordered 2 cups of coffee. No creamer or sugar was on the table. Asked our Server for cream & sugar and was given an attitude. That should have been my clue to get up an leave. When ordering my burger , I changed my curly fries to regular fries she got upset and made a remark under her breath. Once again, I thought maybe it just me. Our food came out and she gave me a Chilli Cheese burger. I told her that I order a cheese burger (she never repeated our order) She got upset and said it must be for another table. When she brang my remake to the table , she slammed it on the table & never came back to check if our food was okay or if we needed more coffee. Other employees where kind enough to clear off our table and refill our coffee. I am not asking for anyone to kiss my ass. All I am asking for is a little respect while I dine at an establishment. I just felt a whole lot of attitude coming from her during my entire visit. The Server or Manager may not care about this review but if this happens to enough people, eventually they will lose customers.. Never stepping...
