I usually go to Mr Ging Chop Suey unless I’m craving Chinese and they’re closed so I come to China Wok. I went in for the lunch special and got a tiny portion of Mongolian beef drenched in sauce, with a giant portion of onions. The rice also had way too much soy sauce and the egg rolls are now half the size. I called back to complain and as soon as I started talking the lady over the phone cut me off to say, it was the lunch special so I only get a small portion of meat. That next time if I want more meat then don’t order the lunch special, order an actual side of Mongolian beef instead. Since when do you only get a small portion of meat with the lunch special? They also charged me 2 extra dollars but it was because they had just raised their prices that day. So now you pay 2 dollars more for less food. We ordered takeout tonight, using the current menu on Ubereats. My daughter ran in to pick up the order so I didn’t look at the receipt until we got home. We were overcharged $24. Order total should have been $37 and some change. I was charged $61.31. When I called the restaurant I was told the prices had changed and they would not issue a partial refund. I mean, did the prices change in the 30 minutes from when I placed the order til I picked it up?? Even worse, the food is terrible. No fillings in the spring rolls, egg rolls, or rangoons.
