HORRIBLE FOOD HANDLING PRACTICES. I made an order using the app. I pulled up to the open glass restaurant front. I watched the employee text on his phone for some time and then without washing his hands or doing anything sanitary, he picked up dough. I was tremendously disturbed. Phones have so much bacteria including feces on them. No gloves, no hand washing but food handling. I went into the store and talked to the employee and told him I observed him and did not want that food if it was my order. He obtained my name and noted he would remake everything. He did. As he was, I saw another employee using his phone and handling food. He didn't touch the food. The restaurant has cameras above them and can easily see their food handling practices. Sadly, this isn't the first time I have had this issue. It happened at a Domino's in the Beverly area of Chicago some years ago. I stopped going to Domino's and most recently started ordering again. This gives me pause. The employee in this recent event handled things as best as he could by redoing the order but I ask all food handling restaurants, to not touch your phone, money or anything of the like without washing your hands. Read moreI have to say that I am quite disappointed. On Friday I ordered pizzas for my class for a summer Funday and placed the order on the app. Paid for it with my credit card. But for some odd reason, they said they tried to contact me with the wrong phone number and that because they cannot contact me which I’ve never had anyone confirm an order off the app before that they helped my pizzas and didn’t make them. Because I was in class I was not able to call until later on in the day where they told me that the reason was because they couldn’t contact me. However, the entire time on the app tracker kept saying that the pizzas were ready for delivery, but never arrived. when I called, I was told it would still take another 30 minutes for them to make the pizza because of the fact that they had them on hold. Instead of canceling the order in the app to alert me that there was an issue they just had it in holding. Have to say I was pretty disappointed and sober my students. Read moreBeware of ordering from this store. I placed an order through app. I was not home to receive this order. So the person at home received. Driver asked him for a tip. He was told no since he was not the one that placed order. Driver kept asking for tip. Person receiving order only had a big bill and driver did not have enough change which resulted in driver getting g 25 dollar tip for a 30 dollar offer. When I got home it was too late when I found out and called next morning only to be told drivers are allowed to ask for money and complaints can only be done same day per their policy.
