I heard DD's dark roast was very good and decided to give it a try. I'm a fan of dark roast coffee, just not DD's, but against my better judgement and open mindedness I bought a pound of the stuff. I initially came into this particular store to buy a single 1 Lb. Dark Roast ground coffee and was forced into buying three bags of the stuff by the pushy manager/employee. I did receive a discount of $2 on each of the three bags, but only because I was buying THREE, but I only wanted ONE to try out! He didn't understand this at all because he just cared about making money, and completely ignored what I was trying to convey.
Anyway, after drinking it for a few days, it's "okay" at best. I have three different high end brands which are better than DD's dark roast by a land-slide. I'll be returning 2 of the three bags I bought.
Advice to the employee: Address the customer's needs over your own. Don't push customers into buying your product, it's not good for business, and you'll end up selling very little. Update: 1/24/15
I went into the store to return the unopened bags and was met by the same man in his late 40s. Long story short, I had to fight tooth and nail to simply get back the refund. He wouldn't understand the amount he owed me for the return and this took 10 mins of explaining and arguing. This man was something else entirely. He literally would hand me one dollar at a time and argue in between each dollar! It was like teaching addition and subtraction to a child. How he became manager is beyond me.
I've never given a restaurant/coffee shop a one star rating before, but after dealing with this nonsense, this place...
Read moreThis Dunkin’ location has become one of the worst I’ve visited, even after its renovation. I ordered a Matcha Green Latte, and the preparation was unhygienic. The staff were not using gloves, and the drink quality was extremely poor. When I asked to use the restroom, I was told there are no public restrooms, which makes me question what the renovation was even for.
It feels like this location is focused only on profit, not on providing proper service. The overall maintenance is bad, the hygiene standards are not followed, and the customer experience is disappointing. Even though Dunkin’s website shows multiple job openings for this area, the store seems understaffed and poorly managed.
This location seriously needs better management, proper training, improved hygiene practices, and basic customer service. Until then, I can’t recommend this...
Read more"I recently visited this Dunkin' location during morning hours as a party of two. We were excited to try their iced shakes, but to our surprise, they didn't even offer them! To make matters worse, the donuts we did order were not fresh and had clearly been sitting out for a while.
To add to the frustration, it took an unusually long time to get someone's attention at the counter to take our order. And when I asked about using the customer restroom, we were informed that they didn't have one available.
