The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. You can really tell they take pride in the quality of their ingredients and how they prepare each dish. From appetizers to entrees, everything we ordered was delicious. If you're not sure what to try, the staff is more than happy to help you decide.

Speaking of the staff, they were absolutely amazing. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel at home. A special shoutout to our waitress, Yoselin she went above and beyond to make our experience great. She was super helpful with recommendations and took the time to explain the dishes in detail, which made choosing what to order so much easier.

El Calamar is a hidden gem, especially if you’re up north or don’t mind a little travel for quality food and service. It's definitely worth the trip. Between the great atmosphere, the top-notch service, and the delicious seafood, I can confidently say this is one of the better dining experiences I’ve had in a while.

I recently visited El Calamar and had a wonderful dining experience. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, which created a pleasant atmosphere. I ordered the ceviche de camarón, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were fresh and vibrant, making each bite a delight. The service was also impressive. The staff was very attentive and friendly, making sure I had everything I needed. My food was brought out promptly, which was a nice touch. Reason why I give it 3 stars is because the food actually made up for my entire experience. The service was ok, the 2 servers seemed a little lost, not sure if they are new but I was very patient to say the less. Men's bathroom had no hot water and no soap either. The atmosphere is really enjoyable and relaxing, music was good. I really enjoyed the corridos and bandas more than the rest. Food was exceptional (besides the rice which I didn't really liked, it was a little dry and no flavor) but the shrimp in garlic and lemon sauce with the fries were absolutely delicious. I forgot to mentioned that the drinks were also on point and did not fail at all. I would definitely come back...
