Just tried this small neighborhood sushi place for the first time Overall very pleased Decor is almost just right(real brick would be soo much more appealing than wallpaper brick) The food was satisfying and tasted fresh We started with Gyoza chicken (fried like potstickers) very tasty My main was Teriyaki beef, it was appealingly presented. I personally needed more spice so I asked for spicy sauce, with a bit added it was perfect and flavorful We then had a Philly Maki roll, it was perfect and tasty with smoked salmon We finished off with the Go Black Hawk Maki plate. It was also satisfying even if the jalapeños seemed to be inconsistent throughout the roll (some pieces very spicy, some not at all) The service was also friendly, quick and quite adequate I would recommend this place for a quick bite or even as a date night spot (BYOB)

Located on Peterson Avenue in West Ridge, which becomes quite congested at times, the location is necessarily ideal. However, once inside, this place feels welcoming and service is very good. Presentation of their food items are also quite impressive. Flavors, however, were inconsistent at best. Ramen noodle in particular reminded of a packet one would purchase at a grocery store. Beef salad, while it looked pretty, was nothing more than sliced flank steak on bed of lettuce. Little more variety of vegetables would have made it so much better. Overall, it is a nice place in an area that could use good restaurants.

Sushi was good. Haven't tried anything else on the menu but it was nice to have good quality nigiri. The rolls were good, the quality of rice was good. Albeit a bit on the pricey side, I enjoyed the evening and didn't regret my purchase. One of my peers gave this a one star for the food taking long, we were a party of 6 and they were really busy with online orders. Our server did in fact apologize for the amount of time it took for the food to come out. If I'm in Roger's park area and craving sushi I would absolutely return for some nigiri.

I thought this place would be great based on all of the reviews I saw, and I was sadly mistaken. I ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai with an extra side of peanut sauce, some Thai Bubble tea, and a green tea Mochi. I don't know why, but this restaurant decided to leave the shrimp tails ON the shrimp. I don't know about you, but I want to dig into my noodles and not have to worry about getting my hands messy and pulling off shrimp tails. I want my Pad Thai to go straight into my mouth. So we're already off to a bad start. But THEN. THEN I added on the peanut sauce. Do NOT order the peanut sauce. It tasted okay, but the aftertaste literally tasted like vomit. VOMIT. Like not "sort of like vomit." I mean actual straight vomit. It was unpalatable five seconds after swallowing. I had to cover up the disgusting flavor with the Bubble Tea. Which, to be fair, was very very good, and the only reason this place is getting two stars instead of one. I decided to try the Mochi, and it wasn't very good. It was way too thin, and it just didn't have the proper texture for Mochi. All in all, I don't recommend this place. Apparently everyone loves this place, and I have...

Fried rice tasted like burnt oil. We got a basil fried rice and a curry fried rice. the curry fried rice wasn’t flavorful, it was quite bland. Other dishes ordered at our table included pad see ewe and pad Thai. 2 ppl needed vegan options and the waiter seemed to be knowledgeable about what was vegan on the menu. [(Apparently, there are no vegan curries here- they all contain some sort of fish or oyster sauce. So we got fried rices- no egg add tofu; and for starters we got egg rolls that the waiter said were actually vegan, as well as an order of tempura veggies because their batter for the tempura is also egg free.)] One person seemed to enjoy their pad Thai alot, while the rest of us thought ours were just “okay”. Also My sister said bathrooms were filthy, she said worse than a concert portopotty. The atmosphere did seem intimate and chill with low lighting and string lights, but food is was underwhelming. The service was very good, waiter attentive, filled waters often. But for the food aspect, I don’t...

Good food but customer service gotten much worse and don't even get me going on the new ordering platform that keeps on crashing... Being the old customer I am, I decided to order my lunch as I did in the past (via their website). Usually it takes for them about 15-20 minutes to get the food ready so I sent someone to pick it up knowing that the food should be hot and fresh by the time they get there... was i wrong or what!? So first the website kept on crashing and drop menus would not open to allow me to order my usual. After crashing 3 times, I called and was first put on hold and than after my order was placed, I asked very politely to expedite my order since it was 10-15 after I already sent someone to get it. After explaining the crashing website and all, I was told the wait is what it is and they have other customers that are already waiting... no problem at all... that's the last time you'll...
