I started to go here with my boyfriend I wanna say a month ago. We loved it thought they where so kind! Till today I had placed an order through Uber eats with them to get my favorite dish. Within 5 mins of my order being placed the app told me it was canceled the notification showed that Pueblo Nuevo said I called them & canceled my order which was incorrect I never called to cancel my order . So once I saw that I called the restaurant to see what happened I was thinking of just placing my order with them on the phone. I called and told them how I just placed an order with Uber eats with them and how it was canceled. The young lady on the phone (she's the owner's daughter) she told me "yah I canceled it" I asked her why. ( backstory the day prior I had placed an order with them through Uber eats , my order was canceled for delays over an hour delay I'm a store manager so I have to go on my breaks at a certain time so I had to cancel my order) her reasoning for canceling my order was because in her words "you canceled your order yesterday why would we take your order for you to cancel it today" I just don't under how a whole different order from the day before has to do with my new order on a new day. Also I order from them through Uber many many times I go in there every Monday after school to eat there. She just kept saying how I would cancel my order again and again her words "if you're not gonna cancel it you can place the order again" like if I just all the time In the world to place orders at restaurants and cancel them. It was an inconvenience for me that my food was delayed. She kept arguing with me and told me I should've drove to pick up my food Very Rude and disrespectful she needs to change her attitude she is representing her mother's restaurant in a nasty way with her attitude towards her customers. It's very sad because that was my favorite place to go I told all my friends about it. Her mother should be disappoint. I DONT recommend this place anymore very rude terrible customer service...
Read moreService and staff were amazing. Very friendly attitudes and welcoming. We had the chicken enchilada Verdes, Carne asada dinner, green chicken pozole, and Carne asada pambosas. The chicken enchiladas were delicious, and the green sauce was spicy enough to make my nose run, but not unbearable. The pambosas were delicious because the bread was seasoned well, their Carne asada is tender and a great cut of meat. I just wish the pambosa had more steak in it. It had a lot more bread than meat. The steak taco dinner was really good, too! They make great beans and rice, flavorful beans and rice. The only disappointment was the pozole. It tasted like a pozole, chicken noodle soup. There wasn't a great flavor of the broth, spice, or any kind of ingredients reminiscent of pozole(bland). we also didn't receive cabbage, radishes or tostadas for the pozole It only came with onions and limes. We would definitely order everything else from here again...
Read moreWe stopped by Pueblo Nuevo on a Saturday evening, and from the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with such warmth and positivity. The owner has an incredible energy that instantly makes you feel at home.
I ordered the mole enchiladas, the owner kindly honored my request for a meatless version, filling them with rice instead. They were absolutely delicious!
My husband had the asada pambazo, which was so good it disappeared in no time—so of course, he had to try the chorizo and papa pambazo and he says they were both delicious! The portions are generous, and you can truly taste the freshness of the ingredients in every bite.
Beyond the amazing food, the atmosphere here is something special. This family-owned restaurant has been serving the neighborhood for over 14 years, and they truly welcome you like family. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by—not just for a great meal, but for the chance to connect with...
