Mr. Zees II — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

Let me just tell you this place has some good food! We ordered a chicken Greek salad and an Italian beef. We were walking so when we got home and opened up everything I realized that my dressing was missing. I hadn't had a Greek salad in awhile so I was upset and just called the store to ask them if they served dressing w the salad or if it was something I needed to ask for. The gentleman who answered the phone (Jackson) knew right away who I was and offered for us to come back and get the dressing but I told him we had been walking and couldn't that night. He said he felt bad and to come in the next day and he would get me something to replace it. When I called him the next day to tell him I would be by he asked me what I would like so I said I sould like to try the kabob, he threw in a gyro meal and another Greek chicken salad also! I told him it was way more than enough and that I really appreciated it. He went above and beyond!! It was all so good and it was done just how I had asked for it. This place is getting worse by the minute. They used to have huge portions for a decent price, high quality food. Now they give you very small portions for a very high price, and the food quality isn't so great. Online they increase every item's price by at least 2 dollars. And it keeps going up. This used to be my favorite place to get a gyro because the meat was good quality, never greasy, and it was huge, felt noticeably heavy in your hand. Today they gave me a small gyro the size of a hotdog and the greasiest meat. Wasn't offered any type of refund after calling about how unsatisfied I was. You're better off going to the other location. There they still have good quality stuff and amazing portions. So I always pass by this place and I thinking the food must be good but that wasn’t the case today. I went inside to order a gyro with fries and a drink. The fries were decent but the gyro was not so good. The meat was kinda cold. The sprite tasted like it was watered down. That’s a restaurant trick to spread the sprite and other drinks. Fries were warm but got cold quick. I give this place a one star. This place definitely needs work on the food for sure. The customer service could be more friendlier.
