Great food is an understatement! Let’s start with the food shall we say… Everything was fresh from seafood to pork! The fish was soooo good and flavorful… We had rice with our meal and that was the BEST rice I’ve ever tasted. The plantains weren’t over cooked like most times I’ve had at other places. The coconut shrimp and smoked shrimp both had their own place in my heart because the both of them were respectfully delicious in their own category! Let’s just say you can’t go wrong here…

I don’t drink alcohol or soda(pop) drinker but the owner had me to try this African soda… This was THE best soda I’ve ever had, hands down! It was fruity but had just a little fizz to it. I had to buy some to bring it home so someone else could experience what I’ve tasted. I had to make sure I wasn’t just exaggerating. Their facial expressions and feedback solidified my opinion was spot on! They want to buy this by the case… Try the soda(pop), please… Thank me later! We talked about this food daily for a week and a half. So much that my principal is making a trip this weekend to see for himself. My daughter is going for her birthday celebration…

The service wasn’t a slouch either! The cook and the owner came out to meet us and made sure we were pleased. Oh I almost forgot the French dessert the owner made us…. OMG! The was a chocolate crepe with a mango sauce. I wasn’t too sweet but it satisfied the sweet tooth that I had. Back to the customer service… Everything was so elegant. We spent almost an hour taking pictures and selfies because the ambiance was soooo elegant!

The only positive thing about this restaurant is the clean environment. The rest is a nightmare.. I paid her to do a buffet for me and my guests for my graduation and it was a hot mess .......... Old Chafing dishes ........Food served cold. .....chicken alfredo worst i have ever had or seen ....Fruits juice staled ..... Ndole no salt or oil .... Salad seem as if it was a left over from another event. Worst of all she imposed tips in her invoice and i paid her one month before my event. I had to take my guests that evening to another restaurant so they could eat since all of us flew in from different states and knew no body in Chicago.. I would never recommend or her services to anyone. !!!!Ask her to cook for your guests at your own...

I’ve been missing authentically good food and I saw the pictures and reviews so my family and I had to go try it out. It was easy to find. The space is quite large and the atmosphere is trendy and vibrant. There’s even a picture wall! We went at a great time, we were seated quickly and the menu is enough to allow my whole family to choose what they wanted. From my 5 year old to my mother. The food is fresh and SOO GOOD! All the compliments to the chef. I had to try something else and take it to go. The chef is quick with it and very friendly.
