First experience with this location tonight. I had high hopes. My hopes were gone with the strange flavored, over cooked, greesy chicken. I grew up in Atlanta and had family who worked at the original Dwarf House for Sam and Dan Cathy; I'd say I know my Chick- fil- A products pretty well. The 2, 8 piece chicken nugget meals my husband waited 35 minutes for, from the staff with poor attitudes; looked half battered and tasted as if it were fried in straight vegetable oil, not peanut oil. The oil and the chicken was over fried. There was no signature sweetness in the batter, no flavor whatsoever other than SALT, which you could see was added after the nuggets were pulled. The only norm he said was that the cashier said "my pleasure" when my husband said 'thank you'. When he called to inform the restaurant that something may be wrong with the chicken or oil, they were nice enough to say come back in anytime and recieve complementary meals. The problem is, they didn't stay on the phone long enough to take his name in order to fulfill this. So, if we try to go "anytime" convenient, how are we gonna look trying to explain this to some random employee? This is a no from me, and I haven't even tried to take my kids inside like other Mom's and had to struggle through finding out this location does not have a playground while other locations not only have playgrounds, but "Mom Valets" for their playgrounds. We've gotta do better,...
Read moreVisited on 8/29/20 and in my order I had 4 chicken minis. The 4 of them were raw and not cooked in the middle. I called to inform them so they could correct this issue. I was greeted with a rude lady whom I have no clue what her name was because she was speaking so fast and was so rude I’m not sure exactly what she said.
When she answered the phone I said good morning, how are you and she responded with “how can I help you”. That’s very professional not to acknowledge the customer.
I informed her of the issue and she proceeded to tell me there was nothing she could do because they cook in a convection oven and it’s timed. I said well I thought you might want to know of the issue so you could maybe correct it and not have issues with more orders. She again informed me there was nothing she could do to correct the issue and if I wanted replacements to come back. I didn’t want replacements, I didn’t ask for my money back or for a fresh order. I was simply being nice and trying to inform your business of a potential issue that could cause people to get sick but your employee was more interested in tell me there was nothing she could do about it.
She was very positive there couldn’t be a oven , timer or employee issue causing the...
Read moreFor starters, this is THE BEST Chick-fil-A in southern Indiana. I drive past two other locations to make it out to this one when we want to eat Chick-fil-A. The food is always hot and fresh and the staff is super friendly. Our experience today totally blew me out of the water. When I pulled up I realized I left my purse at home. I know you can upload funds to the app and pay that way so I decided to go in anyway and ask them for assistance so we could still order. The owner, Terri, had just come out of the kitchen and overheard me talking to the cashier. He immediately interrupted me and said, “oh no, it’s on us! That happens more often than you’d think. We will take care of it, just order whatever you want and come back and see us again”. I tried to tell him he didn’t need to do that, that I could figure out the app and add funds and he insisted that it was on the house. I will continue to go out of my way to visit this location time and time again....
