Always skeptical about new places, we've been done pretty dirty by most places around here & have stopped eating out for the most part. Service and food just isn't great post Covid, & it's crazy prices for tiny amounts. I'm sure most can agree..But Jaggers is pretty solid! We chose curb side pick up. They don't prep until you are there which was interesting & I was worried at first it would take forever. They were pretty packed, but the food came out quick, it was hot, the guy was pleasent
Now for how it tastes....I haven't had a decent chicken strips since befor Covid ..These were GOOD! Not over cooked, not skimpy, no wierd texture. Not over or under seasoned. They were legit chicken tenders lol..And that Sweet Heat sauce is amazing. Not overly spicy, nice little kick with just enough sweet. I would buy that if they sold it at the store...My bfs burger looked good, and it must of been cause it didn't last long lol Think it was just the regular bacon cheese burger. It was a decent size (Not a shrinkflation burger). Tater tots could of been a little more crispy but they were good, and the seasoning was good with out being too much or to little..
but the best part, a burger, 6 tenders, large tots for both, 2 large drinks was under $30!!! I can't remember the last time we paid less than $35-40 for a basic fast food meal, and usually skimpy and doesn't taste great if it's edible at all...Jaggers had reasonable portioned, reasonably priced, the food was good. You just can't beat that. I'm not one to leave detailed reviews like this about fast food places but I was pleasantly surprised and hope the quality stays this way because I will...
Read moreDecent food but a very weird drive-thru & strange customer service which caused us to leave and go to Culvers.
There is no intercom here, they have an employee in the lot like Chick-fila, except one employee was running back and forth from different lanes. How Is This Efficient? It actually made ordering Take Far Longer. If you choose to do things this way but can't staff this system properly, you should just hang it up. Having a staffer in the lot does not make you Chick-fila guys.
After we ordered and received the total, the total seemed too high. When questioned about this, the staffer in the lot informed us he changed our order to totally different meals because of the toppings requested. Why wouldn't the staff just inform us at the time of order? Why did he just ring up different meals? Confused yet? We sure were.
He told us we would need to have the window adjust the total back to what we ordered.
There were two or three cars in front of us. We decided not to wait and try arguing with a window. We just left. Culvers across the street had no wait & no difficulty with the order.
People at Jaggers, It Is Not Good to irritate customers when you have Heavy competition just across the street. It's not just this order that sat there when we left. Do you Understand that next time we are going to be reluctant to go to your location because we can just go to Culvers instead. This was very weird.
I still left 3 stars because I've eaten at Jaggers before and it was pretty decent. Unfortunately, we are unlikely to return to this location, that's a way to...
Read moreWe ordered online and when I went in to get it I pressed "I'm here" and when the order was ready the employee just pushed it to the side. After a while I went to the counter and asked because I was pretty sure it was mine that was sitting there. It was, and when I said no one had said anything the employee just gave me a shrug as if to say sorry were busy, but he didn't actually apologize. I noticed a topping that we had not ordered on a sandwich, so I returned to the store. The next part I'll share some of the blame, I said the sandwich has tomatoes and should not. Again the employee did not apologize. The replacement was prepared and I left and discovered in the way home that it had everything but tomatoes which was not correct. Again this is an understandable mistake given that I had not communicated specifically when I came back, but the employee didn't apologize again. When I returned I brought the ticket to show what the correct order was. When it was prepared this time it had cheese on it and the employee asked if the cheese could just be peeled off, again did not apologize, I said no. The food was prepared correctly and I left. To be clear the employee did seem friendly, but given the frustrating experience it made it more so that I apologized for the miscommunication, but...
