I am posting for an elderly, handicapped client. I arrived at his home this morning to a barely eaten, pizza by his bedside. When I asked about it, he was disgusted by his experience and said he won't eat at a Pizza Hut again. After further inquiry, he explained, 1st: the trouble he had with getting the pizza delivered (He lives in Jeffersonville 47130) He was told to contact the Clarksville store (47129) for delivery. The Clarksville store said this was incorrect. He called the Jeffersonville store (47130) again and gave them his choice of pizza. Instead of someone suggesting the Supreme pizza, he was charged an exorbitant amount for a MEDIUM pizza with 8 toppings (individually priced) $44.81 !! (5.99 delivery fee NOT including a tip) After the delivery refusal from both locations, he believes he canceled the order. 30 mins after the cancelation, a driver arrived with pizza. Cmon almost $45 for a medium pizza???? C'mon!! Ridiculous and a terrible way to...
Read more3.3/5 - Taste of Pizza here is really good when compared to other Pizza Huts, but this place has some big flaws.
I'll try to post the pictures in reference. Got a large pizza and breadsticks. The Large Pizza had a little over 1/3 of the crust with no sauce/cheese/toppings on it. So I basically paid for a large and got a smedium.
This Pizza Hut must be a franchise. Because they have opted to charge $1 for a dipping sauce and give you a super small cup in exchange. The same small sauce cup Taco Bell uses for their nacho cheese. I forgot to take a picture of the Cheese Sauce, but its same size as Marinara. You will notice my picture of the 3 breadsticks and Marinara cup. I ate one breadstick plain and dipped 1 breadstick into the sauce cup. You'll see that one breadstick pretty much used the entire small cup of sauce. This is incredibly shady and makes Pizza Huts in general look bad.
I'd be down to give this place a shot in the future, but...
Read moreI had not been to a Pizza Hut since the other Jeffersonville location closed. Since one of the other national chains that originated in Jeffersonville changed their recipe recently, my family and I have not cared for it. We decided to go out on a limb and try Pizza Hut, we were pleasantly surprised. We got a deep dish pepperoni pizza which brought back fond memories. The early '90s when Pizza Hut had the Book-IT program. We also got a barbecue chicken pizza with no onions, also a deep dish. We got breadsticks and fettuccine pasta. Everything was hot, delicious and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back. Thank you for keeping the old favorites as well as adding new menu offerings, that is what exemplary restaurants do, they keep the things that people know and love, and add new things but don't take...
