Indi's Chicken — Restaurant in Jeffersonville

The atmosphere of this place is reminiscent of an old times greasy spoon. Benches are worn, walls in need of a fresh coat of paint (something other than that awful sunflower yellow).

The order taking set up was weird. You wouldn't know which window of two to place the order then which would be where you pick the food up, except for the rather harsh sounding cashier calling out for the next order.

We ordered the chicken strips "meal" which came with 3 "strips", 3 potato wedges and a 32oz drink (which I don't think was refillable for free, since the only fountain they had was in the kitchen behind a security glass wall.)

The "strips" were thin filets of chicken breast about the length of an average smartphone (and about as thick, or a little less than), and 1/4 as wide. They had an okay flavor, but not enough to warrant the cost (total was about $15 for two of those meals + a side of Mac & cheese that might have been the size of a toddler's fist, two thimbles of BBQ sauce. Yeah that small, two rolls that we only got one of, and what equated to a quarter cup of baked beans).

Carry out today order wrong. Order 18 spicy wings received 16. Called Jeffersonville,Indiana,Indiana location and the person speaking to me on the phone was extremely rude. She told she had to speak to the supervisor. She yelled to the supervisor and me what options I had. 1. Bring the order back. 2. They will give me 2wings. I said I don't know when I would be back to getting wings. After more rude yelling at supervisor and me said if I didn't tell them what date I would be back that they can't help me. I told her I would come in within the next week. She then wanted to get my name for the wings. I had to spell my name 3 times for picking up order. I am a regular customer at Indi's and I did not like the way the employ and supervision to fix probably. I have always had great service until today. Poor...

The place is so nasty that the board of health needs to step in and have them clean this place. I went through the drive-through, and the drive-through window was so filty that you could scrape the grease off with a razorblade. The door of the freezer was so nasty that I couldn't place my order. I asked the young lady who was waiting on me if they ever cleaned the drive-through window her ignorance butt had the audacity to say that they don't pay her enough to clean a window. No matter what job that Im working, if something needs to be done and I can do it, I make sure that it's it taken care of. Team work makes the dream work. I see why they don't pay her enough money because she not willing to go above. Will someone please take care of this and clean this nasty...
