I am late on adding a review and honestly, I would have given this location 5 stars, but I gave them a 4.6 with room to improve. Maybe it was a bad day. But honestly, that's still unacceptable seeing my last visit was disappointing. So rating as such. I've ordered here quite a few times and have enjoyed my chicken souvlaki pita gyro. The chicken is always very juicy and flavorful. It is a great portion with fresh lettuce, tomato, and a few fries. Yum! However, on my previous visit, I ordered (2) chicken souvlaki pita gyros and a Greek salad with a side of chicken. The chicken on my souvlaki was charred with that bitter burnt taste, and the vegetables to my surprise were wilted and not fresh. The salad we received on the other hand was not a Greek salad at all, but a Caesar salad. Doused in dressing on wilted lettuce. Yuck! I'm hoping this was a first and last error like this because I always look forward to grabbing takeout here. (Photos are of the times when food and service were great.)

Lastly, when I first began buying food here, the manager was so friendly and helpful. They were new and made a good rapport with the community. However, this last time whoever was behind the counter was a bit dismissive. I kind of felt rushed so he could ring up a white male customer. Hmm.. not sure what to make of it and not going to rush to judgment. But let me be clear, if this is the type of service that is to be expected, I will not be back.

Management, you have been doing great so far. Please keep your quality of food and customer service in check. One bad apple will spoil the bunch. And rule of thumb, if you wouldn't serve it to the CEO,...

This was my first visit to Trós Greek Street Food, and I am pleased to share my experience. From the moment I arrived, the customer service and management team were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The entire staff made me feel comfortable and valued.

The food was delicious, beautifully cooked, and truly reflective of authentic Mediterranean cuisine. What impressed me most was the warm and inviting atmosphere of the restaurant, which offers a sense of community and friendliness. I am excited to see Jersey City evolving with more stores and restaurants opening up, and Trós Greek Street Food is a wonderful addition. I highly recommend this restaurant to others. The healthy Mediterranean options are definitely worth trying, whether dining in or ordering takeout.

I had to pull up to TROS, an elevated fast casual Greek spot, and let me tell you this place understood the assignment. The Pita Club "Skepasti" was unreal chicken yeero, bacon, and that smoked yogurt sauce had me and my brother silent the whole meal. The Greek fries with feta, oregano, and lemon? Order two because sharing is not an option. The build-your-own bowl and lamb pita gyro were both packed with flavor, ano that sauce deserves its own fan club.
