This is (no longer) my spot! They have the best bagels in the area, no question. It's quick and easy. My only qualm with this location is that they don't always get your order correct. I'm talking the wrong kind of bagel, toasting when asking not to, leaving tomato, onion or eggs off a breakfast sandwich... stuff that you watch the younger employees write down that somehow doesn't make it onto your order.
I believe they have a new manager or more experienced woman working there who has different and fun colored hair every time I seem to go in (which is often). Since she's been working the incorrect orders, whether she's helping you or not, has gone down significantly. She has seemed to raise the level of everyone there because before, they honestly couldn't have cared less. In the past I've also been questioned on the amount I've tipped ($1 for a $2.50 bagel with zero toppings I think is more than generous). That hasn't happened since this woman has been working. (4/1/24 update: the woman doesn't work here anymore)
I would 100% take the extra few moments to make sure what you ordered is in the bag before leaving because when they get your order correct, it's solid.
9/9/22 Update: It's now been 4 or 5 straight visits with the correct order so they're back to a five-star operation!
4/1/2024 Update: The last year has been a true 50/50 whether they will get your order correct or not. I watch them write down exactly what I want and somehow something different ends up on the bagel. This last time they did everything I asked... and then put capers on it. Capers?!?!
It's a shame but I can confidently say I won't be back because you never know what you're going to get. And this is from someone who's gotten, no exaggeration, the same thing at least once a week for the last four years. Prices have also gone up over $2/bagel so they've been trending in the wrong direction for a...
Read moreI was WONDERin’ about dem bagels lol! Ok, I’ll stop, but I will go on to say that I enjoyed Wonder Bagels! I didn’t go in person, but I ordered for delivery. I wanted something a little less rich for breakfast because I had a heavy dinner the night before. So, I was seeking some breakfast that featured egg whites and turkey. So I saw that Wonder Bagels had a wrap that features egg whites, turkey, turkey bacon and Swiss cheese! I ordered that, minus the turkey bacon, and a blueberry muffin from them. It arrived and it looked great. The cheese in the wrap was nice and melty, the egg whites were nicely cooked, and the turkey was good. It sounds simple, but believe me, I’ve had BAD breakfast wraps. This one was done right, and it is greatly appreciated! When I saw the blueberry muffin, I was sad that it wasn’t a blueberry crumb, but once I bit into it, it didn’t matter. This blueberry muffin was moist, and loaded with blueberries! Lol. It was one of the better blueberry muffins I’ve had and again, I’ve had BAD blueberry muffins and the good ones are harder to come by than you’d think, so I appreciate this! I will definitely be ordering from Wonder Bagels again! I trust...
Read moreToday I ordered pea soup and it was definitely a disappointment. The soup was watery and I actually thought it was chicken soup at first because it was mostly broth and barely any peas. A pea soup should be hearty and thick with nice croutons (No croutons at all, just saltine crackers). I used to like Wonderbagel, however lately I feel they are nothing special and put little effort into and their shortcuts to keep the lunch crowd moving through has affected their quality . Wonderbages salads used to be very good too, but now they prepackage the same generic salad with the basic cucumbers, carrots, etc on it and throw on a few extra things to make it look like chef, mozz/roasted pepper and so on...at times I had ordered a specific salad off the menu and was told to go grab a premade from the refrigerator and they were going to throw the other things I wanted on top. Problem is that I don't like carrots or tomato on my salad and I wanted the salad as it was written on the menu. Salads should be made fresh to order. The bagels and cream cheese selections are still pretty good and the chicken/egg/tuna salads are good, which is why I am at least giving...
