Disappointed in the Delivery man attitude and his tone of voice. We order our usual order, Guy on the phone was nice and the price we heard (or so we thought) was $22 . After that we waiting for the delivery man to come by with our food. After calling us that he is here. I proceed to grab my money to pay him and get our food. It was fine at first until he started to tell me that the order was $27.98 so I check the amount I had and I only had $25. So I told him "Give me one second, I will get the rest of the money." I place the food on the stairs of my house which is visible to his eye's and continue to walk inside my house, than he called out to me and repeated himself again saying the price of the receipt. I look back and repeated myself to him once again "I'll get the rest of the money." During this I was peaceful no attitude towards him and went to get the rest of the money. After getting the rest of the money I went back to give it to him which is now a total of $28 above the receipt price of $27.98 and say thank you. And this is where he proceed to to tell me "you get 2 cents back." I told him "It's fine I don't need it." As I was going back into my house it seemed it wasn't over for him and constantly kept repeating about the 2 cents I got annoyed and raised my voice not in a way that seem threatening but for him to understand I didn't need the change back. This is where Mentally I was angry for his attitude and he walk's back to his car still looking at me mumbling something. I just closed my door and let my mother know, Let's just say she wasn't happy. Don't get me wrong Love the place always my best spot to get lunch during school but for a Delivery man to have a attitude...
Read moreThe owner is pretty terrible about timing. Almost every time I call for wings or a slice of pizza with specific toppings, it'll be ready in 2-3 minutes, the latter about 5. Get there and it's 10-15 on the wings, meaning they're just making them and there have been times I've gotten there and he's just lazing about making the slice shortly after I walk in.
I guess I'm too spoiled by New York pizza shops where people move like their life depended on it. I remember one time in particular I had to ask him what was going on as he was doing everything else except making my slices.
You want to support small businesses but most of them don't know a thing about customer service or how to run a business efficiently. He has one guy there that is extremely wasteful. Cuts the toppings at twice the size they would be on a normal pizza from anywhere, even small local shops, effectively wasting ingredients. I've lost count of the amount of times they don't have parmesan cheese. How does a pizza spot not have parmesan?
In hindsight, busy professionals shouldn't frequent these types of small, inefficient...
