Spice Up — Restaurant in Jersey City

Yesterday we have ordered delivery to our house for — 1 paneer biryani family pack, 2 veg Manchurian, 10 Naan, 2 paneer butter masala, 2 malai kofta.

I would rate the food as horrible and disgusting. Here is the reason.

1. paneer biryani tasted sub standard. The taste hardly meets any good restaurant taste ..totally disappointed.

2. roti’s/naans.. are the worst. We could barely eat them as they were so hard to even break into pieces with both the hands put together and not even chewable. Utter waste of money. If given an option, I would straight take it to some food inspection authority and show them the substandard food being given to give them a large penalty.

3. malai kofta - ohhh my godd !!! Kofta’s were rocks… such a bad food I have never eaten in New Jersey in ages.. trust me guys.. never never never order this item from them ever.. I personally think the chef doesn’t know how to cook / it’s 100% stale food. We couldn’t even complete the first box of malai kofta.. as every one threw the food in dustbin

4. paneer butter masala — this was the only eatable thing on the menu .. but panner was again not properly smooth and well cooked. 100% disappointed with the food. I would have left the food right on the table and left the restaurant, if I were eating this food in your restaurant. As this was a home delivery, I had no option but to throw away.

5. veg manchurian — again not at all tasty..

We were 7 adults who ordered this food and not a single person could eat properly even a single item… whole food is wasted and people left hungry from my home. I will make it a mark to never order food from your restaurant. I felt ashamed to have served such food.. can’t put...

This has become my go-to in Jersey City. I'm incredibly picky about my south Indian food and a lot of restaurants in Journal Square only have a few dishes that are tasty while the rest are a miss. Everything I've ordered from this place has been extremely tasty. I've ordered the goat/veg/chicken biryanis, goat sukka, parotta, samosas and goat kurma, and every one of these items have been a hit. I will continue to order from here. One thing I do wish is that the chicken biryani had more meat in it as my order only came with two pieces of chicken. Same with the sukka and kurma - they are not worth the price for the amount you get (+ the sukka is very oily) but...

Wow, it's newly opened and hidden gem, last night we like to try something new and reached out this restaurant, came to know it's opened last Friday, one of the mostly friendly staff ever seen, ordered Gobi Manchurian but staff provided a sample of Gobi 555 as well, it was one of the best and innovative dish I ever had, Panneer Biryani is great, desert double is Meeta is the killer with high quality, and must try desert from this restaurant.
