I was looking for a Chinese food lunch special for takeout and so far I liked what I tried! I'll keep updating the pics of each special I try!

The prices for the lunch range between $9.95 - $11.55 with one exception of a seafood mala broth for $16.55. You may upgrade to brown rice +$1 or fried rice +$1.5

Lunch special comes with a soup, which is by default the hot & sour soup, with option to change to egg drop soup.

(I asked to swap after placing the order and they said they'd tell the kitchen, but then forgot because I got the hot soup anyway)

I haven't seen their lunch deals on any of the 3rd platform delivery apps, so if you want to take advantage of the M-F 11-4hbch specials, you can call them to place your order directly.

1. Shredded pork with bamboo over rice: subtle taste, feels relatively healthy while also being tasty. Good portions, side soup. $9.95 for pork or chicken, $11.55 for beef.

2. Also tried the beef noodle soup, but it wasn't our favorite style.

3. Pork with string beans is also a good option for when you want a veggie heavy dish.

4. The spicy chicken (is it general TSO? I always confuse those dishes names) wasn't really very spicy. We are more used to the panda Express version and weren't big fans, but it wasn't bad.

5. Beef stew over rice was pretty delicious, altho a more premium lunch set (I think $12.95 whereas many others are $9.95), it does have Chinese mushroom in it, which I hate the taste of, but my husband...

Terrible food, terrible service. I don't think the waiter spoke more than 8 words to us. He never even asked us if we wanted anything to drink and just said "no" for the few questions we asked him. Other than that, he barely spoke. The food had no flavor. Half Peking duck was very, small, flavorless, cold and was most likely reheated in a microwave. My family was very hungry and had not eaten all day, so we made the most of it by drenching the duck in hoisen sauce, but left the remainder of our food. Steamed pork buns were sketchy (meat inside was gray) and my husbands pineapple and chicken fried rice was mush with no chicken and nott fried! At one point I did ask the waiter if this was really half a duck in which he responded "yes, just meat" I stand corrected he spoke a few extra words. I would also like to add that there was no language barriers as the waiter clearly spoke English in the few words that were exchanged. When I finally asked for drinks we were told "We have them, but only cans" Well, that to me counts as a drink and I don't know about most people, but I like to wash my food down with a little liquid. I couldn't help but to notice the cups piled nicely next to our table and the pitchers of water that for whatever reason not offered to my party of four. Maybe water and cups come complimentary with dinner only and we missed that luxury by an hour. No need for a take home box for this place. It was totally unacceptable. Should have listened to the reviews and taken a hint by the empty...

Unprofessional and Rude Service - Disappointing Experience

I’m shocked by the positive reviews this restaurant has received because our experience was far from pleasant. My partner and I visited the restaurant just now, and while there were several empty tables, the service was incredibly rude and unaccommodating.

Upon arrival, the receptionist kindly asked us whether we preferred a banquette or a dining table. As I am currently pregnant and expected the banquette to be more comfortable, we requested one of the available banquette seats. There were four empty banquettes, and we were seated without issue.

However, shortly after, a waiter with black-frame glasses approached us and demanded that we move to a smaller dining table. His reasoning was that the banquette seats were reserved for larger parties, despite the fact that the restaurant was half empty and the receptionist had seated us there. When we explained that the banquette was more comfortable for my condition, he refused to accommodate our request and insisted we move, with little regard for our comfort or the initial arrangement.

This level of rudeness and lack of consideration, especially towards a pregnant guest, is unacceptable. We ultimately left feeling disrespected and disappointed. This kind of behavior is not what I expect from any dining establishment, especially one with such...
