The food was such a disappointment. I decided to take my children and mother to this location. We wanted to try something new. We are not complicated or picky customers. We ordered 3 orders of the steak and eggs, and iced latte, hot coffee, and avacado toast. When the food arrived the steak still had so much blood sitting at the top of the steak like a huge puddle. The side of fried absorbed a good amount of blood. The cooks were not wearing gloves. The grilled was obviously not cleaned properly Because the steak tasted exactly like Charcoal. My avacado toast was so bland but what was so disappointing was the bread was So hard. I have veneers and could barely bite into the bread. My mother who ordered a hot coffee was served very chilled coffee she had To keep asking them for a fresh pot. They brought out the coffee and didn’t bring any cream or Milk or sugar not even a stirring sooon. I asked for ice 4 times. I totally Get it sometimes restaurants aren’t busy and servers have so much to do but the place was completely EMPTY there was nobody else dining. I asked the manager to come look at The food and was very polite. Her response was you don’t like the food don’t pay and don’t come back. I was not trying to upset her I was just bringing to her attention the food was not edible. The fresh fruit bowl was so hot and the fruit was not rinsed off. I was so shocked with her response. Her husband came out when I said To her I’m not trying to offend you maam we just want decent food for The price per plate we Are paying. Better I tell her nicely before she gets another customer and they aren’t as nice. They both kept telling us to stop talking and just leave. When I said hey people leave reviews you know she said I don’t care do what you want. It was so embarrassing to be spoken to like that infront of my children and mother. We just wanted to enjoy a nice breakfast. As a business owner myself of a client isn’t happy I hear their concern and try to make it right. But I would never kick them out and tell them to never return. Honestly I’m so upset. I never Leave reviews but this really ruined my morning. Take a chance with this place...
Read moreI am reviewing their dinner, as I have not yet had a chance to try brunch. While the overall experience and meal were fine, I have to say the bill was really overpriced for "fine." My wife and I met for an early dinner, and when I arrived she'd already ordered and received a bottle of sparkling water. Off the bat I felt the service was overly attentive, because as I went to pour myself a glass of water, the server hurried over to insist on pouring it for me. When presented with the menu, right away we were told there were items not available on the menu. Not really a great start, especially so early during service. We did not order appetizers, nor did we need anything uncorked (BYOB), and each of us had one of the non-burger entrees. We did not have dessert. Our bill (with tip) was $75 for two entrees and a bottle of water. While the portions were appropriate in size, they were not "OMG this is amazing and I'm happy paying so much" entrees. They were just "fine." And by the time we'd been served and then finished our relatively small meals, the service had shifted to fairly inattentive, despite not being at all busy. We still tipped above 20% because the service wasn't bad. It just seemed to me that the price reflected the shift in neighborhood demographic more than the experience of the meal. I'd give it another shot, but it's unlikely I'd try anything but the...
Read moreI am not sure about the good reviews on this place. First of all asked for lactose free milk and they only had almond available (this is quite poor variety as there are so many allergies these days, there should be more choices). This meant I couldn't order a coffee... Anyway I went ahead and ordered banana and chocolate pancakes. The waiter brought me strawberry and berries pancakes which I obviously hadn't ordered, he stated no bananas available, shouldn't have you told me prior to see if I wanted strawberries? (I hate strawberries but didn't wanna be rude and still took and tried the plate leaving strawberries on a side). The pancakes were just awful, tasted as if you had put them in a microwave, thick and oily, so ate 1 and tried the others to see if any good on the corners. Left 2/3 of it and told the waiter I was not happy as they were not good. His response was "OK"... And he still added a tip on top of the bill (not even had the option to choose). It's jokes. Avoid this place, pancakes not fresh at all, precooked and warmed up, disgusting. The passivity of the waiter was the worst bit... Couldn't be any more careless. You really need a client service course to do this job... $13.28...
