Yubi 78 is a hidden gem that effortlessly combines stellar service, a welcoming ambiance, and culinary excellence. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by a warm, inviting atmosphere and the amiable owner, who personally ensures every guest feels like family.

The service here is impeccable; attentive without being intrusive, the staff anticipates your needs with a genuine smile. It's clear that they take pride in creating a memorable dining experience, and their passion for hospitality shines through.

Yubi 78's commitment to using only the freshest ingredients is evident in every dish. The menu, though not extensive, is carefully curated to highlight seasonal produce and local fare. Each dish is crafted to order, ensuring that every bite is a testament to the quality and freshness of the ingredients. Whether it's the succulent seared scallops or the vibrant garden salad, the flavors are bright, bold, and undeniably fresh.

One standout dish that truly captured my heart was the octopus with mango. The tender, perfectly cooked octopus paired beautifully with the sweet, tangy mango, creating a harmonious blend of flavors that was both refreshing and delightful.

In an era where fast and pre-packaged often take precedence, Yubi 78 stands out with its dedication to slow, thoughtful cooking. Each meal feels like a personal creation, lovingly prepared just for you. It's this attention to detail, combined with the warmth of the staff and the owner's genuine hospitality, that makes dining at Yubi 78 an...

Yubi is a very special place, the Owner Yubi is a master chef and cares for his clients and you can tell from the quality and artistry of the food and attentive high class service. Nice intimate space, very chill vibe.

The portions are generous and prices are very reasonable. If this restaurant was in Downtown Jersey City, it cost 20-30% more.

Location is great because it's has plenty of street parking, walkable to the path station, or take the number 80 bus from downtown in just under 15mins to get here.

If you sit by the window you get a view of old court house, which makes you feel like you are in Historic Paris District.

My teen loved his carbonara pasta with chicken. My seafood pasta had plentiful seafood with flavorful sauce. Octopus is tender, yet charred to perfection. Veal steak was huge and also on par with anything from a favorite NY steakhouse.

Chef Yubi comes out to greet his guests and ensure they are enjoying their meal. Perfect for datenights, or if you simply want to impress. TREAT yourself to Yubi 78, you will be coming back...

Great food with a few flaws, 5 star service, and a surprisingly charming atmosphere for the area. Good portion sizes at a more than fair price point. BYOB.

On the food: Burrata with fig jam 4.5/5, was delicious, but would profit from actual buffalo burrata for extra taste Charred octopus, 5/5 incredible and not chewy Carbonara 4/5, missing some salt, also not the traditional non-cream version, went too heavy on the cream in my taste Rigatoni bolognese, 3/5. Sauce was good, but pasta was undercooked. I don't mean al dente but proper undercooked

Waiter was very fourth coming, we did not know it was BYOB and he provided a glass of wine on the...

Small, cozy Italian spot with great value, quality, and service. The Calamari was lightly fried, crispy, and accompanied by a refreshing mix of arugula, basil, and shishito pepper. The linguine with clams had well developed flavor without being too salty. The bite on the linguine was tad softer than Al dente which I enjoyed. The dessert was my favorite. The tiramisu balanced sweetness with richness, and was not soggy. Chocolate drizzle with fresh strawberries elevated the dessert. My server was polite and sincerely asked for feedback. Service was a bit slow, but I could tell that time was spent executing on each dish.

I came here with a friend for her birthday. It was great we had a wonderful time. The staff here is amazing ready to cater to all your needs. Before you even need anything they are coming to check on you, clearing the table before the next part of the meal. It was wonderful service from the whole team. The food was amazing. It was honestly great pasta the grilled chicken on the salad was great. Everything was made to perfection. It’s a small intimate BYOB place. I would recommend for a girls night or a date night. I would say it’s better for smaller groups 4 or less and great for couples. I will definitely be back.
