Let me first start off by saying it's a cute spot and the music was a vibe. The bartender was nice but extremely overworked. When I saw the post online, I called to confirm they had $2.99 crawfish. I asked if there was a minimum or maximum to the order. I was told no, so I drove 45 minutes to get there. Only for them to tell everyone we could only order 2 pounds. Then, to have to wait over an hour and a half was ridiculous. I watched several people who were there before me leave before they received their crawfish. I asked the owner why wouldn't they just tell everyone there would be a long wait, so people could decide if they wanted to wait or not, because personally I would have went some where else and tried again on another day. Instead, she told me how she's gone out and waited even longer, lol. She wasn't trying to hear my suggestion, but she did go get my food. Well, at least part of it. I was told if I ordered corn, potatoes, and sausage I had to get it with each lb. When I finally received my food, I got a potato that was cut I less than half, one corn and 0 sausage, which should have been double since I ordered 2 lbs. In the mist of all the waiting, one of the waitresses and a customer had a disagreement, and their party was in an uproar. I really had high hopes for this spot because it was super cute.

My fiancé and I went on a Sunday for the $2.99 crawfish special. When we walked in we were told to sit where we want. We sat there for like 10-15 minutes (like idiots) waiting for someone to come serve us. Mind you there were like 3 other tables so they weren’t busy. Finally, we flagged a waitress down. Once our waitress (which I do not remember her name) took our order and brought our food she did check on us frequently which we appreciated.. skip to the food. There’s an automatic 18% gratuity added. The crawfish came out fairly quick. They were what I call “Texas” good. Lots of butter, garlic and celery. Not bad for the deal price. The drinks were my favorite. Idk if the bartender was lit but both of our drinks (strawberry Hennessy and Long Island) tasted like straight LICKA! We weren’t mad but my gawd I’d go back just for that lol. The hookah was $35 and it was smokingggg! Overall they’re worth a try. I think with them being a new restaurant there are a few kinks to work out but I’d go again.

We went on Taco Tuesday. It literally took over 45 minutes to get 2 tacos and 1 order of nachos. The tacos were good, and the nachos were ok. We ordered ground beef tacos. The ground beef was barely visible. There were 3 well-place jalapeños on the nachos. I didn't taste the sour cream at all. Our server was pretty good, very attentive. She could use some pointers on the menu and what comes with what and how it's prepared. She should also tell the patrons what's going to be an extra fee when they're inquiring about certain items. Something my husband didn't like and found very off-putting was the fact that the place was a vibe until the owners walked in. The male owner had them change the music as soon as he walked in. Everything that played afterward was either I did cheat, I should've cheated, or I'll just keep him satisfied on the weekend. I quickly noticed that there were hardly any men in there, 3 total. Maybe change the music and you'll get more diversity in there.

Review for 3Seventeen Restaurant & Lounge

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I recently had the pleasure of dining at 3Seventeen Restaurant & Lounge, and it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish!

Food: The menu is a delightful fusion of flavors. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with taste. The pasta was a standout, perfectly cooked and seasoned. It’s clear that the chefs are passionate about their craft.

Drinks: The drink selection is impressive, featuring a range of creative cocktails. My drink was a margarita expertly crafted by Ari, who clearly knows how to balance flavors. It was the perfect complement to our meal.

Customer Service: Our server, Ari, was exceptional! From the moment we walked in, Ari made us feel welcome and attended to our every need with a friendly demeanor. She insightful recommendations and ensured that our dining experience was seamless.

Aesthetics / Atmosphere: The ambiance at 3Seventeen is simply stunning. The modern decor, combined with soft lighting and comfortable seating, creates a chic yet cozy atmosphere. It’s the ideal setting for both a romantic dinner or a night out...

Walked in on a Friday afternoon around 4pm and they were playing music that felt like we were attending a repass. It was a Friday and happy hour! No one wants to hear Betty white or cool and the gan-g. We had to ask them to please change the music and to turn it up. The north side of Houston needs a place with a vibe especially during daytime hours. We have to drive downtown to catch this type of vibe and we live in The Woodlands. Of course we don’t expect a ratchet turn up that early but mix it up with some hip hop and a decent sound system. And this is coming from a 48 yr old btw.

The food was actually decent. We enjoyed our drinks, hookah, and happy hour prices. Dee was great, but at some point there needed to be 2 bartenders to handle the demand as more people needed drinks and we waited a bit for the food & hookah.

The place is remodeled but you all forgot to put some care into the restrooms. They look tacky and worn out. Spend some money on making those spaces more desirable especially the women’s restroom.

Overall, we’d come back for happy hour and hope to see these...
