My boyfriend and I visited this place 2 days ago around 9pm and ordered popcorn chicken and a mango smoothie. I like this place a lot because I think they have the best popcorn chicken. I noticed the popcorn chicken that night was soft and a bit chewy inside, but I thought it was just fat. When we were almost finished, my bf pulled apart a piece and saw the chicken was not cooked. The meat was completely uncooked (not just half-cooked - it was completely raw with a light pink color). We threw it away and left, not thinking much about it at the time. We should have taken pictures. The next morning, both of us had diarrhea and kept having to go to the bathroom many times. My bf said he had to go to the bathroom so many times, he might have lost some weight. I called to let them know the next day, and while a staff member said they would inform management, I haven't received any follow-up confirmation about how they plan to address this food safety concern. So, hopefully the meat will be served better after this -.- Other than that, drinks were good. Update: I haven’t been back since then but noticed a return on my account. Might come back for...
Read moreI live just around the corner and thought I’d give this place a try… I walked in on a quiet Wed afternoon and shortly walked right back out. Having not been there before I walked right up to the counter and looked at their menu, I don’t think they make my typical brown sugar milk tea boba since it wasn’t listed (I had a few questions about other options) but I’ll never know since the two young male & female workers in the back decided to stand and gossip rather than perform their duties. I patiently waited 5 minutes at the counter, even the one male worker looked up at me and made eye contact… then continued gossiping. At one point I thought maybe they were making the solo tables drinks but after further notice, they already had them and the employee was merely leaning back on the counter. So after 5 mins of no welcoming or acknowledgment, I turned around and left. It is not my job to flag down an employee for service. Poor customer service at its finest. First impression was...
Read moreI used to visit here more frequently but service has been less than expected the last several times I have visited. Their popcorn chicken is good but the servings have gotten smaller and seems they are charging more OR they just aren’t consistent either in pricing or serving size. There are a lot of tea options and you can customize the sweetness levels or also get Viet style coffee or Thai tea. Ordering ahead can still result in a wait and often when I call I have to call several times for someone to answer. You can build points for rewards if you share your number. Location is near Barnes & Noble adjacent to the former Cafe Express and James Avery locations. There’s a TJ Maxx and Spirit Halloween behind the strip center, but not too much really in the area besides some other retail I don’t frequent. It’s not life changing as far as drinks go....
