Poor Management/Communication in Misfortunate Times Let me first say that the cooks brought their A-game as usual as the two stars are purely for them. However the customer service during our last visit was terrible. I phoned an order for curbside pick-up, left a name and description of the vehicle and was given a timeline of 15 to 20 mins. It took an additional fifteen minutes of waiting in the designated parking spot before we had to go in to fetch the order (they were no longer receiving calls apparently) AND spent even more time waiting just to be acknowleged once inside. Despite business being slow to moderate, you could tell the wait staff was barely keeping their head above water so to speak, as other curbside orders were having to jump the queue to actually see what was going on. The computers went down, so all those waiting on orders were as patient as possible, however none of this was openly communicated by any member of the team until questioned. Worst of all, the evening manager totally avoided recognition of the problem much less addressed it or apologized for the situation. She left her crew to fend for themselves and it hurt to witness it. We received the wrong order inside which is quite a big deal during these supposed-to-be limited-contact times. They also brought out the wrong order outside but this time we didn't accept it. Why did they take our name/vehicle description if they weren't going to use it? Lastly when we got the order we were missing grilled shrimp on one of the entrees. At that point I just wanted to go home. The whole ordeal took and hour longer than the expected wait time. I will not give Rockfish my business if I see that manager...

Great meal and delicious Gumbo: The gumbo at Rockfish Seafood Grill was a delightful blend of flavors and textures. The broth was rich and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice. The addition of shrimp, crab, and Andouille sausage provided a hearty and satisfying experience. It was a perfect choice for those looking for a taste of the Gulf Coast. Margaritas: The margaritas at Rockfish Seafood Grill were top-notch. They struck a great balance between sweet and tangy, with a generous pour of quality tequila. Served with a salted rim and a slice of lime, they were a refreshing accompaniment to the meal. Black Mahi-Mahi: The blackened mahi-mahi was a standout dish. The fish was cooked to perfection, with a beautifully seared exterior and tender, flaky interior. The blackened seasoning added a spicy kick that complemented the mild flavor of the mahi-mahi wonderfully. It was served with a side of fresh vegetables and rice, making for a well-rounded and delicious meal.

Overall, my dining experience at Rockfish Seafood Grill was excellent. The gumbo, margaritas, and black mahi-mahi were all highlights of the menu, and the attentive service made the meal even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this restaurant to seafood enthusiasts looking for a taste of the Gulf Coast in a comfortable and...

My mom, sisters, and I came to this restaurant on May 23rd thinking that they were having a shellfish celebration. We came, ordered, ate & once we were done eating we noticed that the bill was not what we thought we were paying for. We asked our waiter about the prices and she went to get a manager. The first manager that came out named SARAH was very condescending. she did not apologize nor try to accommodate. she just repeated herself like we couldn’t hear. “Yeaaa we cancelled that one, we sent out emails and flyers to everyone” mind you we come here a LOT so of course we have them on Facebook, Instagram, and email. We never received anything about cancellations. We asked for another manager & his name was ANDRE. He also did not care to accommodate us nor even apologized for the inconvenience. He was very unfriendly, unwelcoming, and unprofessional. So to speak, the flyers were false advertisement and inaccurate on their part and we had to still pay , which was not an issue it was the principle .Don’t make flyers , set them in the front for people to grab and tell people the DAY OF that we sent out emails and text messages. It was unprofessional & I felt that we should’ve been at least...

Since Saltgrass Steakhouse removed their salmon Oscar style from the menu, I searched for new places to get one of my favorite dishes. The photos on Rock Fish looked great so I tried the shrimp grits with sauteed spinach, salmon Oscar with brocolli, and a small bowl of gumbo. The gumbo was bland until I added hot sauce and had to keep adding it. It was pasty. The hot sauce didn't really help so I gave up after a few spoons of it. I kept thinking Captain Benny's is much better. The salmon was just "meh" with and/or without the oscar sauce. It made me long for Saltgrass's version. The grits were good, seasoned very well, but the shrimp was also "meh" and made me reminisce about the version at Snooze. The sauteed spinach was really good. The brocolli was too but didn't have any seasoning - I like it like that though so I didn't mind. All in all, the meal was not terrible, but wasn't anything I'd rush to have again either hence the 3 stars. No one in the kitchen is "cooking with love" as the saying goes. One of those "this would be a great meal if someone had cared" situations.
