I would recommend pickup ( so call in and pick it up).
Empanadas
Pork: flavorful... 3rd favorite Beef: Green beans and rice flavor 2nd favorite Cheese: Cheesy with decent pull... My favorite Chicken: actually my least like one... Would not recommend this one.
Yucca frits: super crispy and crunchy and not a strong flavor... My little niece loves it.
French fries: good flavor profile, slightly crunchy but soft in the inside... :) ... Salted just the right amount
Buffalo wings: Generic buffalo wings... Very good. Garlic Parmesan: super garlicky... :(
Masa fritas is super sweet... Not what I expected :(...
Personally what make this place stand out is the empanadas but probably has the best fries out of every restaurant I've went to.
In total it cost me about 43$ roughly this is the cost distribution. empanadas 11 Fries and frita 7 total Buffalo and garlic wing (12 pc) is 13 Masa fritas ??? (Assuming 9-10)
So overall pretty good. I don't think people will eat as much as me so lol... Also avoid...
Read moreA hole in the wall. Difficult to see at night and the surrounding area is not well lit. But the food was amazing. Ordered the pork and chicken empanadas, French fries, fried plantains, and pork pieces? The chicken empanadas had better seasoning than the pork empanadas. The French fries after traveling 20 minutes home were still hot, and the seasoning they added (cajun seasoning? ) made them delicious. The plantains came with sour cream and although I have never had sour cream with plantains before, mix it with the green guacamole sauce they give you and you can dip that with anything. What really got me was the sauce for the pork pieces. I believe it had olive oil, garlic, lime, and basil. That was absolutely delicious to add to the empanadas. Next time I go I will have to ask for...
Read moreJust ordered the beef empanada, white rice, red beans, yucca frita & masa frita. Let me just say I'm not a fan of sweet meat. Americana BBQ is ok if that's what you order but BBQ sauce is more to be expected from an Americana restaurant. To be clear this was not sweet like a BBQ sauce but did have an odd sweetness nonetheless. What I was hoping for was more of a latino seasoned saltiness to the meat. Anyway the beef empanada meat as well as the masa meat had an unsavory sweetness to it. Yucca fries were good and rice & beans were ok. So if you're a fan of sweet meat this is the place for you. I will say price was decent, portion size was good & seemed to be cooked at the right temperature. Just put away the sugar, corn syrup or whatever it is u...
