VIBE: Bright, natural lighting. Lovely farmhouse-style decor. Clean. LOVE that they have covered outdoor dining (very small area with probably about 4 tables that seat 4 people each).
FOOD: LLLOVE The Elevated Egg Sandwich!!! 𤤠This breakfast sandwich has one delicious, perfectly cooked, over easy, cage-free egg (careful, the egg gets MESSY as soon a you pick it up ā SOOO DELICIOUS the way it spreads all over your sandwich). A couple of bacon strips (again, perfectly cooked for the right crisp. Not chewy/rubbery. Not burnt.) Avocado toast is alright. Gruyere cheese. Fresh smashed avocado. Mayo. Lemon dressed arugula. All in a soft, buttery, yummy brioche bun. This is definitely one of my new favorite breakfast meals! UPDATE: I microwaved my remaining half of this sandwich, and it might actually taste even better and butterier! SOOOO GOOOD!
The seasoned, country potatoes that are served with The Elevated Egg Sandwich could've been seasoned a bit more and cooked a bit longer (either needs to be softer or crisper). They were a bit bland and too hard. My friend made several attempts at poking a piece, chasing it around the plate before he could actually stab it hard enough to pick it up. It was funny sight, but still ā those were hard, undercooked potatoes.
The regular coffee was similar to just about any diner š¤·š»āāļø
I LOVE that they're applying for their alcohol license! I'm sure that'll be a FANTASTIC game changer! š„š·š¹
PRICING: Typical of any average brunch spot. WORTH IT, THOUGH! ESPECIALLY, if they can get their liquor license to sell alcoholic beveragesš
SERVICE: I'm used to breakfast/brunch restaurants having very cheerful, bubbly staff with warm, friendly smiles. The waitstaff wasn't rude or anything... They just ALL seemed like they were EXHAUSTED ā poor things š„ŗ The Greeters/Hosts had more energy than the waitstaff, but still didn't have the usual warm, happy WELCOMING demeanor that we're used to seeing at other breakfast/brunch restaurants. Some guy in the kitchen was YELLING orders at the kitchen crew ā NOT RUDELY ā you could just constantly hear yelling, which we just giggled at. He wasn't mean to the crew. MOST kitchens are going to be LOUD. It's just that the customers can hear him during their entire dining experience. Again, NONE of the ENTIRE staff were horrible AT ALL. I just kind of felt sad for everyone that they aren't exactly HAPPY to be there. I'd STILL come back to...

As someone who traverses the globe in pursuit of the finest culinary experiencesāfrom the back alleys of Hong kong to the sun-drenched terraces of Italyārarely does a casual dining experience leave such a lasting impression. But my recent visit to First Watch did just that, thanks to one extraordinary individual: Kevin, our server.
From the moment we were seated, Kevin exuded the kind of attentiveness and intuition one expects only at the most elite establishments. With two fussy babies in tow, our brunch could have easily spiraled into chaos. Yet Kevin handled the situation with grace, compassion, and an almost preternatural sense of timing. He not only helped us soothe the little ones with calm energy and thoughtful distractions, but also ensured our experience remained seamless and enjoyable.
What sets Kevin apart is his rare blend of professionalism and warmth. Before taking a single order, he introduced himself and learned our namesāan elegant touch that created an immediate sense of connection. His menu recommendations were not only spot-on but felt tailor-made to our tastes, as if he had been our personal maĆ®tre dā.
The food, as always at First Watch, was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. But make no mistake: it was Kevinās five-star service that turned our meal into a memorable occasion.
In a world where hospitality often feels transactional, Kevin reminds us of the true art of service. If First Watch were a Michelin-rated restaurant, he would surely earn...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI cannot believe how bad our experience was today. We arrived early today and were 1 of 2 people in the restaurant. It took a few minutes to get the server to come to our table and he was the only okay part of the experience, though he did take a lot of time to return to the table to ask for anything we needed.
The coffee was thin and we never received any refills. The huge problem came when we ordered avocado toast. Eggs were ordered over hard. They came out together but the eggs were already cold and the toast arrived on stale bread and it wasn't toasted. No silverware was served and when we tracked down another server to ask for a fork, she rolled her eyes without any response and then gave us one set. It took a long time for the server to come back for us to tell him that the food was awful and when he did, he smirked and said that he had nothing to do with what the kitchen served but understood that we had a problem. He went ahead and had our meal taken off, which I appreciated but honestly the $10 for the 2 coffees was still a ripoff for the entire experience. When I asked him why they didn't even manage to toast the bread, he told me their toaster is often broken. A broken toaster, in a breakfast restaurant - just wow and just pathetic.
This location seems to be filled with entitled, disgruntled servers and staff who complain when people want to come in and order food. Worst First Watch location I have ever been to, what a...
