The pictures on this page were very deceiving, judging by the pictures and the reviews we thought it would be a good meal, but we were misled. We arrived at 1 pm for lunch Saturday and were told that they don't do lunch on the weekend and to look at the dinner options. They were the same items as lunch, just more money. All they really had to choose from that's not sushi was Hibachi, Teriyaki and Red Curry. We ordered one Red Curry, one Shrimp Teriyaki and one Chicken Teriyaki. The Red Curry came with no appetizers but the other two did so one person could not eat, all it was anyway was Chicken Broth in a bowl which tasted like powdered bouillon, no meat or anything in it, just broth. Also a very small salad, just iceberg lettuce and one cucumber slice with what appeared to be mayonnaise and ketchup mixed together with a touch of sesame oil. Then came the entrees: The Chicken and Shrimp were served on raw onion strips, nothing else on the plate except two broccoli florets and two little strips of carrot. I would say the chicken was about 6 oz cut into strips with what appeared to be kikkoman bottled teriyaki sauce thickened with corn starch poured on it. The shrimp was the same exact way, 7 shrimp with bottled sauce poured on it on top of raw onion with the broccoli and carrot. They did come with what was about 6 oz white rice in a side dish. Neither of us ate the onion and only I ate the rice, even if we ate the onion it was a very small portion of food for 19 dollars. Just basic meat with sauce is all it was. The Red Curry dish had way too many snow peas in it, in fact it's about all it was and the sauce was too loose. The biggest problem though was that with all those snow peas basically being the only thing they put in the dish, they never took the time to pull out the stringy membrane strands on the back of the snow peas. So it was a very unpalatable mess with strands that looked like blonde hair poking all out of the sauce, the person eating it initially found it shocking until I assured them it was only that they never removed the stringy strands from the snow peas. They thought it was hair in their food and then they lost their appetite and did not finish the dish. So the three of us hardly ate anything to be charged over 60 dollars. Professional cooks should have known about the unpalatable risks of using snow peas if not prepared properly and to have nothing but raw onions on a hot plate of food. At the very least they should have been sauteed but even then, no one wants to eat just onions, there should have been a variety of vegetables in it. All in all, it was just very poorly executed and we obviously have no plans to return.
