Flagstaff Resort is a recreational room that you can rent out for weddings or parties. Thanks to the kindness of the owner, he does not mind you using the far end of his parking lot to gaze down at Jim Thorpe. If you go, just be respectful to the property- don't rip out cinder blocks, trespass in his yard, or litter.

Nice views, but it is just a 5 minute stop. It is adjacent to a private dilapidated property with no trespassing signs posted. It appears that most visitors disregard the signs to obtain the best views. If visiting, I recommend also driving up the road to see the "free 100 mile view." Just follow the signs.
