This was a solidly good Italian restaurant. They appeared to offer take out up front, and had a seating area in back, as well as a bar section. They did not have fountain drinks, only bottled and canned beverages, which I didnt know when ordering, since I wanted a glass of water and a Dr. Pepper, but ended up paying for both a can of Dr. Pepper and a bottle of water. My son had a cheesesteak which was really dry he said. I had a small stromboli and it was really good. We also had a large order of fries, but they were too undercooked and soggy for me, but maybe some people like them that way? Service was friendly and as quick as could be, considering the place was mobbed from some of the 850+ people who arrived at the same time on the special steam train. The bathroom wasn't the nicest, but it was clean enough for me.

My wife and I like to try local pizza places when we travel, and this is a great little pizza place. We ordered a medium (six slices) with mushrooms and extra cheese, because most places skimp on the cheese, but that's not the case with Antonio's! It was too much cheese, but hey, that is what I ordered! The crust is perfectly done with that little crunch with each bite. The sauce is seasoned well and has little tomato chunks, it is so fresh. We also ordered a house salad and it was loaded with sweet peppers, black olives, tomatoes, onion...see the photo. Total bill was $32 and it was worth every penny. This is where we're stopping after our hikes around Jim Thorpe. Highly recommend.

Best pizza I have had in a long time. I grew up in new Jersey where there are great pizza shops everywhere, once I moved out to Lancaster county PA I have tried many pizza shops but nothing compared to the pizza I used to eat in Jersey. Took a weekend vacation to the Poconos this weekend and decided to try Antonio's in Jim Thorpe, I must say that their pizza taste better than any pizza I have ever had in Lancaster county and south Jersey. The crust was soft yet still crispy, the cheese was perfect in form and taste, can honestly rate this as one of the best pizzas I have had in my 26 years of eating pizza. 10/10 from me

I only left two stars instead of one because my son and granddaughter pizza and wrap seemed good. BUT. I ordered the lasagna and it was HORRIBLE! It was soupy and had some powdered looking meat in it and only had two layers of noodles and only cheese was a huge amount of mozzarella on the top. It was so soupy that I could barely fish out the noodles. The cheese was so thick that I thought I was going to choke trying to swallow! I didn’t finish it, the little bit I ate gave me a stomach ache, the sauce was plain! I was so disappointed! The staff seemed nice, but the experience ruined my day.

I judge an Italian place by the most basic thing you can order, plain cheese pizza. This is the foundation of all other pizzas you'll order. I came in and asked for a slice. Cook said it wasn't ready yet, so I had a seat. A few minutes later, a couple fresh slices were served at my table. The pizza was terrible. Super thin, completely covered in grease, the cheese was cheap, the undercarriage floppy, the sauce was flavorless. I tried to rescue it with really table seasonings. It did not help. I wouldn't order anything else from here. This was $3 per slice.
