I was in the party of 20 this morning for Brunch as the last person mentioned in the previous review. As mentioned, the waitresses deserve the 5 stars, Sydney and her fellow waitresses were wonderful. However 2 ladies in the group received their meals very late which was not the servers fault. I asked for the manager after a while of observing our 2 friends just sitting there and looking at the rest of us eating. It was uncomfortable for us as I’m sure it was for them. Instead of the manager, a lady came out and started asking us how everything was. I called to her and asked if she was the manager, she said she was the executive chef and owner. I explained how our friend’s food was late. She said that we were 20 people and the food was out in a timely manner, that only fresh ingredients were used etc….. I again mentioned my friends and asked what could be done about their bill. She told me their meals could not be comped under any circumstances. I’m sorry is definitely Not in her vocabulary. She never apologized to the 2 ladies. Actually completely ignored them, and acted unaware that comped meals is a gesture restaurants use as a way of an apology, and goodwill when their actions result in an unhappy customer.
Well executive chef and owner, if you are looking for “one hit wonders” you are on the fast track. Reputable restaurants look for repeat customers who keep coming back and not only rave about the food and service but also feel appreciated when not all goes well during their visit. You would rather have bad reviews instead of apologizing and making...
Read moreMy husband and I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Rushing Trading Company. We had brunch on Easter Sunday and were greeted very warmly at the door and shown to a nice table with cute Easter decorations. Our server Breelynn was friendly, warm and made some recommendations about items on the menu. She spoke with a lot of pride about the restaurant, the chef and the food items we were considering. I ordered the braised short rib and grits with a poached egg on top and it was one of the most phenomenal dishes I’ve had in quite some time! The beef was absolutely perfect, the grits were cheesy and had a nice texture, and the egg was poached perfectly. My husband had the lumberjack special which included eggs, grits some sausage, bacon, and a biscuit with a side of apple butter. Everything on his plate was absolutely delicious, and that was some of the best apple butter I’ve ever had. Breelynn checked on us several times and made sure our water glasses were full, and the manager, Jason, stopped by at the end of our meal to introduce himself and see how our experience was. We plan to go back again and again: our food was delicious and there were so many great looking items on the menu we would like to try, plus every single staff member smiled and was warm and friendly. Great job, Rushing...
Read moreMother's Day we were supposed to eat somewhere else, it didn't work out (a lil false advertising) so in a scramble we jump on the net read some reviews and decided to take a chance. What a luck of the draw. Nor only is this a nice cozy spot with an awesome team working here but the food was bananas (very good). Now it being a busy holiday we did have a small problem but mgnt was quick to make it right but the food more than made up for a small mishap. I've been in Ga since 2014 and have finally found somewhere besides a Popeyes that knows how to make a delicious BISCUIT (that's huge being from up north) 🤯. Mrs. Had a delicious Omelet and I had Banana Pudding French toast. It was personal chef, catering quality French toast. The perfect level of sweet for themed French toast. They were PERFECT. We are anxious to go back and excited to try more food. If I lived in John's Creek I'd be a regular here but have car will travel lol. As good as their site pics are the FOOD REALLY IS so stop in or make the trip, your stomach...
