Went in with my Brother-in-law who has had a stroke and is now in a wheelchair, then there is me who has had back surgery, Knee Replacement Surgery and during the Spinal Fusion procedure I had a Heart Attack, caught Pneumonia and found out that I have Atrial+Ventricle Stenosis and a Grade 2 Heart Murmur, so my absolutely fantastic Sister wanted to take my Brother-in-law and me out... however when I got my salad I had taken the first bite and was going to take the 2nd bite then noticed that the lettuce was slimy so I took it back and had it replaced, asked for a bag and proceeded to give the manager lady the bad salad she says that she can not take it back that I would have to dispose of it my self so I decided to just put it in the bag and just give it to my sister's flock of cute little chickens, as I reached the table my sister was getting up with my brother-in-law's sandwich in her hand and a piece of something metal in the other hand so again we had to take something back up to the counter for replacement and an apology you would expect however my sister got a little bit of scolding words like we had done this on purpose and also told my sister that she was upset at me for putting that bad salad in my to go back.... she then turned around while rolling her eyes at my sister and then someone else came up and gave my sister the replacement sandwich then turned and walked away....so my sister came back to the table and said we are leaving now! She then proceeded to take my Brother-in-law to the car and was coming back to help me with the food and drinks because I also walk with a cane and because of my Heart Condition I pass out unexpectedly at any time. So I go back to the counter to get two drink trays and to again speak to the lady whom we assumed was the manager and was the one who dealt with both me and my sister....(We both know that things happen in the Restaurant Business because we have both been in the Restaurant Business in our past and we know that things like this happen so we were not ugly, rude, mad or talked mean to this lady, period!) I told her that I was so sorry that I upset her about putting the slimy salad in the to go bag but she was the one who said that I would have to dispose of it myself, and then I told her that at that time I had decided to just take it home and give it to my sister's flock of chicken's because they did not care if the salad was slimy in a lot of places, I then also explained to her that my sister came to get my brother-in-law's sandwich replacement due to the piece of unknown metal wire that my brother-in-law (who is paralyzed on the right side) just bit into so that could have caused some major problems for him and if not him whatever customer who had gotten that sandwich with a piece of metal wire in it....I then suggested that she check her attitude because it could have just as easily been her and her family that this happened to instead of me and my family!!!! So this was the first and last time we will ever go to this Wendy's Restaurant, PERIOD!!!!! WE ARE VERY DISAPPOINTED AND EXTREMELY UPSET AS TO HOW WE WERE TREATED, THIS TREATMENT BY A MANAGER WAS VERY WRONG, PERIOD!!!! (Maybe next time this happen's to another customer at this Wendy's the customer should just insist that the manger bring her family in to help her eat the slimy salad and the unknown piece of metal wire that was inside the single burger that was she will know that those items were disposed of in a way that was satisfactory to her!!!!) Thank you for reading this complaint, I do not normally write or complain about things like this however I felt like it needed to be told in case this happens to someone else, I mean what if this had happened to someone who was with an elderly person or a handicapped child or anyone else for that matter....!?!? Anyway, thank you all for reading my...
Read moreThere’s been an issue recently with the workers being rude that I’ve noticed, but this morning was particularly frustrating. I normally place mobile orders, but there’s not an option to ask for light or no ice in the drinks so I try to just ask to update it whenever I come to pick it up. This morning, I let them know I had a mobile order and I tried to ask for no ice, but the lady working the drive through (pretty sure it was a manager btw) literally interrupted me while I was mid sentence telling me to pull forward. So I pulled forward to the window, and surprise surprise, my drink has a ton of ice in it because she refused to listen and instead interrupted me. I don’t know what has happened over the past couple of months here, but the employees need to be retrained on their customer service skills or something.
Also, she was clearly aware that I was irritated and instead of fixing the situation and just asking what I was trying to say or even letting me try to ask again at the window, she kept shutting the window immediately so I couldn’t get a word in. She seemed more worried about continuing her conversation with her coworker than doing her job.
The only reason I’m giving two stars instead of one is because there are maybe two employees (both older men) I’ve encountered that work morning shift that are genuinely nice people and have good customer service skills. But as for these other employees, something...
Read moreI have never been so disappointed by the pure incompetence of the Wendy's staff, to say they took the fast out of fast food is an understatement. I went late in the evening at 10:40pm and waited over 20 minutes for my food. Part of the reason for such the long wait was while I was greeted in the drive through they told me they would be with me in just a moment and then never said they were ready to which I had to ask them if I could order and the woman responded with attitude after she had forgotten I was sitting there for several minutes, I heard her and another coworker giggling about such mistake. After the long wait at the window for my food I had to go back through the drive-thru as they forgot the french fries, glad I had enough wit to check the bags before getting home and being even more upset about it later. A quick run for some food should not take over half an hour when that place is located less than five minutes from home. After arriving at my house I found the food was cold and had to be reheated. To say I'm disappointed in this company would be an understatement although I am glad at least the man in the window handing out the food was nice, other than him this particular Wendy's establishment should look upon hiring...
