7 Brew Coffee — Restaurant in Joliet

I stopped by the new 7 Brew Coffee in Joliet and got a cold brew with cold foam, and honestly, it was really good. I’m from Seattle, so I know my coffee, and this one definitely held up. Smooth flavor, not too bitter, and the cold foam was spot-on.

I actually walked over since I didn’t have a car, and even though it’s mostly a drive-thru setup, the team was super welcoming. They were busy, but everyone stayed upbeat and kind, they didn’t make me feel out of place for walking up. That kind of customer service goes a long way.

The energy here feels fun and community-driven, and the drinks are high quality without the pretentious vibe. It’s nice to see a place where both the people and the coffee shine.

If you’re in the area, driving or walking, I definitely recommend checking out 7 Brew. Great drinks, great people, and a refreshing change of pace from the usual coffee chains. I’ll for sure be back next...

First visit I decided not to leave a review because they were still fairly new.

Now that I have been a few times it’s a consistent issue. All 3 visits I ordered a caramel swirl and all 3 visits I received no caramel swirl. Yes I could say something and have the drink remade, but it’s a waste of a drink. All 3 visits I didn’t feel the drinks were anything special and the flavor was off as if the espresso was over brewed or something. I was excited to have a 7 brew an hour away, but unfortunately it’s not worth it. I’m grateful this location was not my first experience with 7 brew or I would not return.

The first couple times were good. But lately there’s been a lot of attitude and mess ups coming from a couple girls there and getting mad about “ ordering wrong” when it’s not my fault the girl taking my order doesn’t put it right. I understand it’s all new to them. But I’m trying to have the patience and understanding. But getting mad at the customer and being loud and obnoxious and OBVIOUS you’re mad prior to making a drink again isn’t nice and shows bad customer service over all. I understand it’s frustrating making a new drink and it not being your fault. However, it isn’t my fault either. Order takers need more training. And some of the other staff simply needs a...
