I stopped by the new 7 Brew Coffee in Joliet and got a cold brew with cold foam, and honestly, it was really good. Iām from Seattle, so I know my coffee, and this one definitely held up. Smooth flavor, not too bitter, and the cold foam was spot-on.
I actually walked over since I didnāt have a car, and even though itās mostly a drive-thru setup, the team was super welcoming. They were busy, but everyone stayed upbeat and kind, they didnāt make me feel out of place for walking up. That kind of customer service goes a long way.
The energy here feels fun and community-driven, and the drinks are high quality without the pretentious vibe. Itās nice to see a place where both the people and the coffee shine.
If youāre in the area, driving or walking, I definitely recommend checking out 7 Brew. Great drinks, great people, and a refreshing change of pace from the usual coffee chains. Iāll for sure be back next...

Now that I have been a few times itās a consistent issue. All 3 visits I ordered a caramel swirl and all 3 visits I received no caramel swirl. Yes I could say something and have the drink remade, but itās a waste of a drink. All 3 visits I didnāt feel the drinks were anything special and the flavor was off as if the espresso was over brewed or something. I was excited to have a 7 brew an hour away, but unfortunately itās not worth it. Iām grateful this location was not my first experience with 7 brew or I would not return.
