Andy's Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Jonesboro

No complaints on good how good the frozen custard is. My concern is I am a regular through the drive through and after I ordered I realized I did not have my wallet with me that contains my credit card and driver license. I did have on my phone the wallet app which did have my credit card on file with my name on it. My phone also has my insurance card, copy of my drivers license, you get the picture I have all types of sources of identification in my phone with my name on it. Also the individual at the window you will give them your phone number and when they enter the information they will have your name. My concern is I tried to pay with my credit card information from my wallet app and I was told ANYONE can this get this information and use. My interpretation was I stole this card and would spend $7 on frozen custard. Where I work, I take credit card information over the phone on a regular basis from customers and never make the customer feel like they had stolen the credit information from someone else to use to purchase an item. Our experience was not good. Everything is super expensive. I ordered a small and it was a massive amount. I would rather have smaller sizes and pay a bit less. And even though everything is elephant sized, they were super skimpy with toppings. My jackhammer had maybe 3 pieces of brownie and a tablespoon of fudge. They charge a premium for toppings and then don't give you any. We were on a road trip and there was nothing we could order for our young kids. The kids sundae is open and too messy for the car and the other items are way too big for kids under 6. The employee was completely unhelpful and wouldn't split a milkshake into two cups. And the lids have a giant whole in the top, so they spill everywhere if tipped or dropped (which happened to us). There is nowhere to eat inside or outside the building so we were left with a mess in our car on a long road trip.It was a shame because the custard itself was good, but I don't see myself coming back because it is not at all family friendly and the employees were...

I happened to be in Jonesboro to take my sister to a doctors appointment. After the appointment we drove by Andy's Frozen Custard, I've never had frozen custard before so we turned around and went through the drive in. There were cars already in line and people setting outside and still others setting in their cars enjoying their custard. I thought this stuff must be good. I ordered a strawberry shortcake custard with extra strawberries on top. BOY!! it was OUTSTANDING the custard was to die for and the cake was HOMEMADE!!
