Cheddar's is an interesting place having somewhat similar food to Chilli's but without the southwest theme. The atmosphere was very odd. The decor is somewhat modern or perhaps a bit urban, but we walked in, they were playing country music (pop/rock with a Nashville accent). Felt very out of place. They served buttered croissants that were crispy and delicious) soon after we set down. Unfortunately there were four on the platter and only three of us. So we had to bargain for who would get a second croissant. We started our meal with Cheese Bites. These are cheese curds with a crispy breading and served with a side of ranch. They're pretty good. I can't help but regret not ordering them with a side of caramel. They're perfectly greasy enough to pair with something sweet (think carnival/fair food). I had the Chicken Tender Dinner with "honey hot" sauce. This is very juicy fried chicken and the sauce is very reminiscent of a sweet buffalo. I wasn't a fan. It comes with fries and a side of slaw. The slaw is mayo based and tastes pretty decent for s may based coleslaw. The fries were mediocre, but still tasty. My wife had the Monte Cristo. It's as if someone took a Turkey, Ham & Cheese, battered it with donut batter and deep fried it. I'm not a ham fan, so it missed the mark for me, but it was good apart from that. The sweet batter goes well with the cheese. My daughter had the kids meal barbecue chicken (served on rice). She devoured it, but didn't finish the rice. Service was much less than expected. We had to ask for a drink refill and that was the only one we got. We didn't try any drinks on this visit, but they did have some interesting cocktails including a pineapple-coconut twist on a Moscow Mule.

I ordered to-go on Tuesday (4/23/24) & again on Friday (4/26/24). Both times I ordered on-the-spot, inside the to-go room, & received my orders super-fast, within just a few minutes. Also, both times, I spoke with a manager, Hunter, & requested my entrés be "tweaked" a little with extra seasonings & sauces --& offered to pay extra to get my food the way I wanted. Both times, Hunter personally fixed my orders & made the food so unbelievably delicious! I definitely have a new fave dish! One was seasoned fries with cheese, bacon, & BBQ sauce with extra ranch. The other was the best Chicken Alfredo I've ever had. He added extra Afredo sauce, seasoned it with a special spicy seasoning, & drizzled Buffalo sauce over it. I had asked if he could make it extra spicy. & I don't even like Buffalo sauce, normally, but I absolutely LOVED it in the Chicken Alfredo! This is the way I'll order it every single time, now. And, I'll frequent Cheddar's even more than I already do, just for this dish! & Hunter tweaked my honey butter croissants a couple different ways each time, as well. That made them really fantastic both times! He really went the extra mile to make this loyal customer a die hard fan of Cheddar's! I really appreciate all he did & the girls working the to-go area are so sweet, friendly, kind, & proficient! I will definitely keep going back.

First let me say my server was doing the best she could. None of this was her fault. First we were sat and it took her about 10 minutes to come to the table. No one told her they sat her. I've been a server so I know things happen so no big deal. Everything was going good until they say 3 tables at once in her section. She hadn't even had a chance to clean one of the tables off yet. No one was even trying to help her with even just the drink order for the tables. Then we found a beard hair in one of our plates. Ok, again things happen. Been in the food industry for 13 years. She said she would take it off but never offered to replace it or if we wanted anything else. We had to go somewhere else for her some food and ended up keeping her 4 month old out way longer than we needed too. We planned our whole dinner around his schedule. Everyone's food was just ok. My son's fries tasted old, like they were cooked and sitting under a heat lamp. My steak was suppose to be medium but was more medium well and tough. We was charged for garlic butter but never asked for it and really didn't see any on our plate either. This was my first time coming to this restaurant and I was not really impressed with it.

So we are from out of town and stopped in after a show we came to see. We arrived at 50 minutes before closing. We asked for a quiet back booth and we were told no they are closed and servers being sent home because they are closing in 30 minutes. Ok, moving on. Get seated and our server was very pleasant and we ordered a couple of appetizers. She brought rolls which were very good. It was the last good thing we ate. We then ordered a salad dinner that has four sides and it and the appetizers came out at the same time in approximately 3 minutes. The hostess now seats a new couple at a quiet back booth such as we had asked for and were denied. So quick rundown the broccoli was half undercooked and yet half of it was overcooked and mushy. The mashed potatoes were scraped from the bottom of the pan obviously with crusty edges and even a potato eye. The baked potato was ok but just tough. The house salad was unremarkable. If you have had a bag of salad from the grocery store then you have had this salad. The spinach dip was also bottom of the pan and crusty edged. The queso was the weird "cheese" like if you make Rotel. So not particularly bad just not real and don't care for that type of queso. So while we are picking through this feast the servers start sweeping with a broom...at first. Now our server joins in with a vacuum cleaner. Moving chairs and tables and vacuuming while we eat. This is still 25 minutes before closing time. We felt rushed and unwelcome and if what you have left of an item is to scrape the bottom of the pan out then just say you are out of it. Don't serve trash food. 1 out of 10 would definitely...

Let's start with the fact that the hostess asked what we wanted when we walked up. I said a table please now I got 3 little kids with me and she seats us at a table with 3 chairs right beside the bar instead of the 6 booths that were open just in that area. She's like ima go get another chair and took off before I could say, no a high chair then when she came back and I asked for one she kinda had an attitude but I pushed it aside. Took about 12 minutes just for the waiter to show up and id already placed our appetizer and my kids food meal on the tablet however you can't order actual food. He finally showed up and asked for our drinks. Took another 10mins just to get them. Got our appetizer took about 10-15 minutes before the waiter showed up again to ask our main meal order I placed mine and explained I'd already did the kids. About 2 minutes later their food arrived and the girl was like what did you order mama I said I literally just placed mine. Took about another 10-15 minutes for it to arrive at that point id already asked the waiter for to go boxes for mine to be a to go meal and paid. Saw managers standing around. It wasn't even that busy honestly. Not blaming the waiter at all he was super busy they are understaffed and I think quality of the food should bypass quantity of the amount of people in the restaurant. The folks beside us reordered their food twice and finally just left cause it was nasty, my kids didn't touch their food. Could've just stayed closed honestly I just keep...
