Cecy's Cakes — Restaurant in Joplin

Do NOT order from here. My mom ordered my birthday cake from here, even sent a picture of exactly what she needed and we ended up with no cake. The cake my mom picked up was a JELLO one layer cake when we asked for white, two tier cake with pink icing and white trim. The words read “Happy BirthDATE”... why would anyone want happy “birthdate“? When asked for it to be corrected we were told we could just bring the cake back and get a refund. When my mom walked in the RUDE lady had already voided my moms payment without even waiting for my mom to get there. Obviously there was no sense of wanting to fix the problem or keep a customer...

Went a few months back and they were ok. Lady that was lacking customer service skills. Never felt welcomed and their pastries are over priced. Not sure they will be around long.

I ordered a cake from here for my daughter’s birthday and it looks nothing like the picture and didn’t put the number 7 on it. It was a 2 tier and i opened the box the top is about to fall off and the chocolate pieces are to heavy on it that they just fall bc they were not properly put on the cake with toothpicks or whatever they use.
