
Iâve never had issues at this location before but tonight I had the absolute worst experience. We took our children for an evening treat. When we arrived we noticed there was a handful of people in the establishment but nothing that seemed too crazy. My three children picked out their ice cream orders and I noticed that none of the 5 workers I saw behind the counter were working as if they were in the middle of an evening rush. After 20 minutes in line, my children were becoming anxious and only 2 customers were served in that time. Nobody was actively trying to assist customers and the manager was walking around on the phone and gossiping with another employee as if there wasnât a line almost out the door. I even noticed one gentleman walk out after not being served in a timely manner. We were speaking with the couple in front of us who were also irritated at the lack of timely service. I made the comment that no one seems to care about their job to the couple and the âmanagerâ turned around and began getting defensive claiming the employees were minors. Being a minor does not mean they should be ok with not actively doing their job. As a manager she should have been delegating tasks to handle the rush instead of being on the phone. Instead she felt the need to mention that she owns her own house and car as if that excuses her employeesâ lack of discipline and her own failure in leadership attributes. And at the notice of an unhappy customer she should have taken note at the unacceptable manner of her employeesâ work ethic and should have corrected it. Instead she wanted to argue and we left without being served which left my children extremely upset. I highly recommend extra leadership training to the manager and higher standards for the staff to perform their job. Today for my first y time I call Baskin Robin corporation. I was really patient because the girl was new, but the other one that was training her it was really unprofessional and rude. I get enough and requested my money back and the girl said she will not give me my money back because her manager don't allow her to do that. I just wanted to leave the place because the service was really bad and anything that I requested it was right. But the girl told me I need to eat my Ice cream like that because she will not give me my money back. I called corporate and put then in speaker phone ,when they asked me information the girl refused to give to me, saying that her manger will not came to fix the problem and she will no do anything about it. Corporate apologized to me when they heard her talking. I leave the place without my money and the ice cream. It wasn't any costumers service. The store stole my money ,saying that they don't give money back. The only good was that Corporate heard that and they was in shock...When legally a store that don't give money back should have at least a signs posted. Well now I have a open case and I know I will get my money back and never go to that store again and I will tell all my family,friends,co workers and all social media about this.    Read moreWow I live in Virginia, but my son is in the Army and stationed at Fort Riley Kansas, Saturday is his 20th birthday and the first time I've been away from him on this special occasion. So today I called Baskin-Robbins in Junction City, Kansas from Virginia trying desperately to still make my son's birthday special 1100 miles from him and an "Angel" answered the phone her name was LIV and I cannot express how wonderful, and helpful, fun, just everything positive she was and I just want to say Thank you Liv for making a mother feel so graciously helped and actually cared about me and my son and knew how very important this was. You are an amazing woman, the example of 5 star professional, perfect customer service and I hope that management knows what an asset they have in you.
