I’ve grown up in and around Junction City, dining in has now become more of a pain than anything, instead of talking to a cashier you have to teach yourself how to use a food menu kiosk. So explain this to me, before the remodel, I remember years ago and recently, elderly couples or elderly farmers would come in here to eat breakfast or just grab a coffee and relax for a little while, on top of that they now have a time limit of 30 minutes posted by the front entrance of how long you are allowed to eat your food. Did I not mention that some of the elderly farmers and couples like to get together and chit chat, this was their spot away from home and working on the farm, they are paying customers like anyone else are you really going to tell them “excuse me, but you’ve exceeded the 30 minute mark and I’m going to have to ask you to leave”? Highly doubt it, also where is the play area for the little ones, both McDonald’s (here and the one on Washington) used to have a play area, why take that away from the little ones, oh that’s right 30 minutes, so know the parents are expected for their child to sit and eat their food with nothing to do, we all know how that goes, and this is coming from a guy who doesn’t have kids. When I was a child I remember coming here to play area, my mother would tell me eat a little bit then you can play, I was in heaven, go to my favorite place get a happy meal and get to play, that was a little kids paradise. I’ve read other reviews about people saying the drive thru is mediocre, but I wouldn’t know honestly since this is my first time coming here after the remodel, but I can tell you this will also be my last, thank you McDonald’s for running a good place for elderly people to come and get together and also ruining the fun...
Read moreThe absolutely worst. They always forget items and you have to return to receive your items. The wait in the drive thru lines always has a wait of sometimes over 20 minutes. The individuals who are in the higher management positions, have the worst attitudes and are always approach a lot of customers with such disdain that they cause many customers to never return but to receive services from the other location.
There are so many people in our area that are service members that can be treated with the most disrespectful treatment. As a former US Army Veteran, the treatment is no different from the active duty members. Again, the greatest threat of this location is that of the managers that hold the greatest roles in this specific location.
Again, as a establishment located in the middle of the area, many customers complain about their services. However, the individuals who are in the highest and often considered most professional positions are actually what makes the establishment even worse.
From my perspective and I think that I can speak on the behalf of many customers in this area, would agree that this location is by far the most poorly managed and unorganized location. Furthermore, this location employs the most untrained personnel anywhere.
The highest level of the management truly needs to be removed, replaced and retrained as it relates to their individual abilities to properly conduct and maintain the highest standards in the description of the positions that they are in fact the position that...
Read moreI can see why it's a 3 star McDonalds. I have never seen a three star McDonalds before. Lady (O-something, sun was too bright) taking orders at the Drive-Thru didn't explain that a) extra BBQ sauce costs extra (I know that, but still should've said so), b) my code became invalid because I changed the drink to a large (I said large if possible so she could've said it changed my code to not working), and c) when I got up to pay didn't tell me the code was invalid so my paying through the mobile code is no longer working so I also didn't get my points. Her attitude was horrible. She said everything in the meal so it sounded like I was paying for two meals especially since she didn't say the extra BBQ I ordered in her spiel and since she didn't tell me my code was invalid so it was more expensive than I was expecting. Her supervisor who came over was just being as useless. They thought me talking about the code I used was a mobile order (mobile order codes are a bit different). And she covered her face with frustration when I was trying to figure out why it was more expensive. How hard is it to say "10 piece meal with a large drink and an extra BBQ sauce" instead of "10 piece meal with a medium fry, 2 BBQ sauce, and a large Dr Pepper" without mentioning my extra BBQ? I don't ever want to go here again. I just moved here and all my other fast food experiences were just fine. -.- Edit: they also made me forget to ask for ketchup with their...
