I got to scooters religiously. My husband and I get their mocha blender at least 3 times a week. My husband is ACTIVE DUTY military and has been in for 16 years. I have been with him since he joined 16 years ago. This morning I showed my military ID for the 10% discount. And the lady said “I can’t do military discount for the spouse” umm excuse me? I’m confused because they have NEVER given me a problem and have always given me the discount. On my SPOUSE ID it says “active duty” on it. Not that I care about the extra $1 I would’ve saved with the discount. It’s the fact of the matter. Just because I’m not the member myself shouldn’t matter. Us spouses serve just as much most times, we have to sacrifice every day along side our loved ones who do serve. I wasn’t upset with the girl for doing what she was instructed to do. The girl told me she was new and when she started management told her to make sure it wasn’t spouses who are getting the discount and I’m sorry but that is ridiculous. Read moreIf I could give this location itself a 10 star I would. I’ll make a Long story short. Sarah, one of the employees, legit SAVED my life! Last week I was on my way to the ER for complications due to a recent heart condition I found out about a couple days prior. ANYWAY! While I was driving I started feeling very very ill and had no idea what I was going to do so I drove up to the window of scooters and asked for someone to call 911 for me. Sarah was the one who jumped right on it and came out the my car to make sure I was ok while I waited. She also brought out some water and took down my mothers phone number so she could call inform her of what was going on (my mother had my two children at the time) she even called later to see if I was ok. I went back today to thank her and wish that I could do so much more than just say thank you. She saved my life, if it wasn’t for her acting as quickly and friendly as she did something very bad could have happened. My kids would have been without their mother and my husband without his wife. I finally gained access, and today, i tried them out again, due to having a reward to use.
I ordered a Blended Carmelicious, and a sandwich. The drink didn’t have enough of the emulsifying base, and had ice chunks. I kindly and gently asked if it could be blended again, and add a pump of base.
The girl in the window clarified my request, and proceeded to ask the barista to reblend it. To which the barista screamed, “I ALREADY DOUBLE BLENDED IT, then came to the window to tell me that she already did that.”
She then proceeded to put my name on a running list of names of people who get their next drink free.
I don’t want a free drink! I want the baristas to do their job correctly, and know the appropriate ratios of ingredients to use.
I just want what I pay for. This Scooters is notorious for poor consistency, and terrible...
